Editor:

At present time the news arena is dominated with one subject that is summarized in the expression “fiscal cliff.” As the president and the Congress attempt to maneuver for positions of great influence in this debacle, the image of a 3-ring circus quickly comes to mind.

The tragedy in this is the failure to realize that the real crisis is not the possibility of falling over a fiscal cliff but the hard reality that we have already fallen over a moral cliff!

Our version of Holocaust has resulted in over 55 million unborn victims. Our idolatry is on a level comparable to the ancient Roman Empire. Our sexual immorality is now pandemic in nature. We continue to brainwash the majority of our young with the deadly doctrine that we have evolved from lower life forms, hence, there is no personal need for God if He really does exist.

Mounting evidence suggests that it is simply a matter of time until Almighty God, Who is calling us to repent of our personal and corporate sins, deals with our nation as He has dealt with others in the past whose ruins now pique the interests of archeologists!

The United States Doomed to Fail and Collapse!

He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. --- Psalm 66:7

It is still a given that the majority of United States citizens believe certain myths about our republic:

1. Some believe the U. S. to be the most powerful nation in the world.

2. Some believe and insist that the U. S. is the most wealthy nation in the world.

3. There are those who believe that the U. S. is the "leader" among the 195 nations of the world.

4. And there are those, of course, who mistakenly believe that the U. S. is a "Christian" nation!

Why the change from what used to be great power, wealth, a prominent leadership role in the world, and a prestigious identity with the Christian faith?

The answer is rather simple -- we no longer are under the blessing of Almighty God as in times long since past.

Consider three critical issues as to why this deplorable condition exists:

1. The first issue is financial in nature and the fact that the U. S. is deeply and hopelessly in debt. Perhaps one way of illustrating this tragedy is to imagine a quicksand bog -- we are as a person who has become trapped in it, and the struggle begins -- one foot is raised in the attempt to find something solid upon which to stand, but the other foot and leg sink even deeper. All the while there is the steady sinking into the mire happening and no hope of rescue! And the more intense the struggle to break free, the deeper into the quicksand the victim descends! Our present "bog" which is enlarging every second is over 14 trillion dollars. The nation of China owns about 1 trillion of that alone.

Recently a flurry of activity took place in the nation's capitol over the budget. Republicans wanted to originally cut spending by 100 billion -- then that was reduced considerably and a final "compromise" worked out in which now the figure of cuts is about 38 billion. That sure will go a long way in eliminating over 14 TRILLION dollars of debt, will it not?

The president and the U. S. Congress are intent on spending money we do not have and will not exercise restraint and common sense in handling revenue income. The Scriptures reveal that a nation intent on obeying God will be blessed with prosperity and will be a lender to nations and NOT a borrower! (See verification in Deuteronomy 28 where finances are mentioned, but there are other issues in the chapter where it is like looking into the mirror and there we see the United States).

2. Second, an issue that is moral in nature. The president pushed for and, with support from enough members of the Congress, was able to get legislation that removed the ban on sodomites serving openly in the U. S. military. While the sodomite/lesbian agenda has been making great strides forward with growing acceptance across our nation, God's view of this type of sexual activity has not changed at all. God labels such activity as an abomination -- not merely as sin, but as something that is as sin intensified many times over! It is totally repugnant in the sight of God and thoroughly condemned. The ultimate consequences are seen in the ashes of Sodom and Gomorrah! (Note references to these in 2 Peter 2:6 & Jude 1:7).

3. Third, an issue that is also moral in nature. The president and supporters in Congress are aggressive in the support of the destruction of unborn children, under the deadly idea that it is a "constitutional right" to do so -- the average rate of destruction is about 25,000 a week throughout the year!

The president's record as a legislator is clear -- he opposed efforts to try to place some restrictons on aborting unborn children and obviously he would do likewise in any future attempt to further restrict abortions in any way whatsover!

Even worse is the fact that there are church leaders who shoose not to address the rampant "shedding of innocent blood" in this republic. God, of course, has made extremely clear His view of human life and His holy purpose for the same.

Once one has given serious thought to God's view of human life, there is but one conclusion to which one can arrive. To intentionally interfere with God's plan and purpose for a human life is to invite His judgmental wrath at some point in the future. With nearly 53 million unborn victims tallied so far in the United States' unique version of "Holocaust", the question is not whether God's judgment will come upon our republic, but rather how soon will it happen?

Will radical and necessary changes be made very soon so that once again the nation will be blessed by God with success and have a hopeful and secure future? There is absolutely no indication that our leaders (political and church) are willing to engage in a transforming life experience known as repentance! And if the leaders refuse to repent, then the citizens most likely will follow the example which guarantees failure and collapse!

What Was His Real Reason for Being Out of Town on January 22?

"I am not going to walk away just because it's hard. We're going to keep on working to get this done with Democrats, Republicans, anyone who is willing to step up. Because I am not going to watch more people get crushed by costs or denied the care they need by insurance company bureaucrats or partisan politics or special-interest power in Washington." --- President Obama speaking in Elyria, Ohio on Friday, January 22, 2010

Was it mere coincidence, or was it deliberately planned? You know, something like, “I don’t want to be around here on January 22nd – think up a reason for me to be at least a few hundred miles away.”

And so it came to pass that President Barack Hussein Obama “just happened” to make a trip to Elyria, Ohio. A number describe him as being an “angry president” on the occasion.

Things have not been going well for the president lately – or for the recent year since taking office for that matter. The recent senate election in Massachusetts is only the latest in set backs for a president who was under the mistaken impression that once he took office it would be like waving a magic wand and whatever he wanted, the U.S. Congress and the whole country would go along without any objections. If for no other reason than the fact that he is Barack Hussein Obama and far smarter than the rest of us and he knows far better than we what is best for us!

But why go out of town on January 22nd? Simple – he didn’t want to be reminded in rather dramatic fashion of his miserable failure in his views on human life and the fact that he is totally out of touch as to what human life is all about. January 22nd is the annual March for Life in D.C. involving tens of thousands of U. S. citizens of all ages protesting the slaughter of unborn children at the rate of about 100,000 per month!

President Obama is the most pro-abortion president in U. S. history. The members of his administration are also supportive of destroying unborn children before they are born.

Little wonder he high-tailed it out of town on January 22nd – not enough guts to face that crowd or even look in its direction. He can run from the crowd now but unless he repents of his attitude in sanctioning the destruction of the unborn, there will come a time when he will face the Creator of this mighty universe and give an account as to why he gave wholehearted approval to the destruction of millions of unborn children and refused to accept Almighty God’s view of human life!

As noted in comments on this subject elsewhere, we have yet to witness God’s full response to this, the U. S. version of “holocaust.” When that response does come, none of us will want to be living within the boundaries of these United States!

In the meantime, take the weapon of prayer, and pray that God will “return upon the heads” of all elected officials the “fruit of their doings” – that is, their sanctioning of the destruction of unborn children which at this point in time numbers well beyond 51 million victims! Added to this abomination is the fact that these people, including the president, aggressively oppose any efforts to protect the lives of all unborn children. It is most obvious that they really do not believe the truth as found in this republic's historic documents that all persons should have the "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

And don't buy into the heresy that the unborn are not really persons until they are born -- God has stated His position on that most clearly -- persons known and fully identified by Him long before conception and birth!

Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin with which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD. --- 2 Kings 21:16

Presidential Selectivity When It Comes to Speaking of Horror!

WEIMAR, Germany - President Barack Obama witnessed the Nazi ovens of the Buchenwald concentration camp Friday, its clock tower frozen at the time of liberation, and said the leaders of today must not rest against the spread of evil.

The president called the camp where an estimated 56,000 people died the "ultimate rebuke" to Holocaust deniers and skeptics. And he bluntly challenged one of them, Iranian President Ahmadinejad, to visit Buchenwald. --- from news release on President Obama’s visit to a former Nazi concentration camp

President Obama has graphically demonstrated that he is very selective when it comes to the subject of what is horror. The word was employed during his recent visit to the Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany. The camp, along with many others, gained notoriety when it was learned of the masses of people put to death during WW II by the Nazis.

The estimated number of people who died at Buchenwald is said to be at least 56,000. This is just a tad more than the number of unborn children who are exterminated in a two week period in the United States. The average rate in the “land of the free and the home of the brave” is about 25,000 every week!

The president commented, “These sites have not lost their horror with the passage of time…More than half a century later, our grief and our outrage over what happened have not diminished…Buchenwald teaches us that we must be ever-vigilant about the spread of evil in our time, that we must reject the false comfort that others' suffering is not our problem, and commit ourselves to resisting those who would subjugate others to serve their own interests.”

Well now, would you take a look at this – maybe you ought to review it two or three times just in case you didn’t read it correctly.

Let’s “adjust” the president’s statements a bit and place them in a different “setting” – are you game? Come on, let’s do it!

It is reported that he “bluntly” challenged Iranian President Ahmadinejad to visit Buchenwald because Ahmadinejad is one who has denied the horrors of the Holocaust. OK, how about our president in all his righteous indignation visiting an abortion clinic and personally witness the destruction of human lives before those children are born? Sound fair enough, if we are going to challenge world leaders to view something?

Is President Obama willing to be “ever-vigilant about the evil in our time” here in the United States when it comes to the evil of the mass murders of innocent unborn children? How would you answer a poll that asked you, “Is the intentional destruction of 25,000 unborn children every week an evil in our time?” How would the president answer such a question?

And in viewing the destruction of an unborn child, would our president apply the word “horror” as an appropriate way to describe what was done to that child as its life was brutally taken in a deliberate act as a result of a deliberate “decision” and big bucks were paid to the person who did the act, but that same person was not charged with an act of murder?

Remember, this is the man who shortly after taking office signed documents which has now made possible the use of U. S. taxpayer dollars going into foreign nations and supporting organizations which do abortions.

And this is the man who has declared his intention of signing the FOCA which will further remove what few restrictions against abortion that have been set in place by states, including parental notification in those cases involving underage females seeking an abortion.

Don’t hold your breath on this one as the president once again demonstrates how easy it is to be consistent in his most glaring inconsistency while he points to what a “horror” it was that happened in a place called Buchenwald decades ago! It is highly unlikely that he will ever honestly face the horrors of the United States’ version of “holocaust!”

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time I punish them, they shall be cast down," says the LORD. Thus says the LORD: "Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.' George Tiller’s Days of Terminating Lives of the Unborn Are Ended!

Dr. George Tiller, notorious for doing late term abortions, was shot to death on Sunday, May 31, 2009, while serving as an usher at his church. His wife was a member of the choir and seated in the choir area when the tragic event took place. --- information from a variety of news sources

Dr. George Tiller’s murder will have a negative impact on those who have been employing peaceful objections and protests in the attempt to use legal means to halt the mass destruction of unborn children at the rate of approximately 100,000 per month.

First, the majority of those involved in mass media dissemination of news are supportive of abortion on demand and will spin references to pro-life supporters in the most negative ways possible. All of us will be branded as bigoted and fanatical “terrorists” capable of violent acts against doctors, members of their staffs and against their facilities.

Second, the pro-abortion crowd will exploit this incident to the hilt and then some. This is just the kind of grist for their propaganda mills that they delight in. Their cause will be helped immensely and the battle for the rights of unborn humans will be more of an uphill battle than it has ever been before.

Third, the most pro-death president in the history of our republic has spoken on this matter and it is certain that he will also do everything within the scope of his power and influence to see that pro-life supporters are more restricted and hindered than ever in the conflict that has raged since January of 1973. In his recent speech at the Notre Dame commencement he attempted to appeal to reaching "common ground" between those who support abortion and those who oppose it. This kid has some growing up to do -- he has yet to realize you can't half kill an unborn child and make everybody happy -- especially the Creator of this mighty universe Who claims He is involved in the formation of an unborn child in the womb! (See Jeremiah 1:4, 5 on that).

Fourth, our pro-death president has already nominated a highly questionable person to the Supreme Court and it is a given that whoever occupies the next vacant chair at the Supreme Court will always rule in favor of continued destruction of the unborn. Incidents such as the tragic death of Dr. Tiller simply cause these judges to dig their heels in more deeply. Resulting decisions as they pertain to unborn children will be a death sentence just as surely as the individual who pulled the trigger on the weapon which took the life of Dr. Tiller.

But in order to try to balance this thing a bit, it is wise to bear in mind an eternal truth. There are times when God permits a shocking display as to how this law works. It’s called the law of sowing and reaping. It is based on a statement out of Galatians 6 in the New Testament. We are informed that God will not be mocked – whatever a man sows, that he will surely reap in due time.

In an act of violence the life of Dr. George Tiller was taken. But here was a man who immersed himself in acts of violence over quite a period of time. Violence was a way of life for him – each time he snuffed out the life of a baby in the late stages of its development in its mother’s womb, he was involved in an act of violence and guilty of murder – and that’s not just an opinion of mine – if you think so, just go and have a little talk with God about it and let me know what He gives by way of an answer, OK?

For those who are still unwilling to admit that we are talking a violent murderous act each time the life of an unborn child is terminated, take a look at what actually happens. Pro-abortion people get very upset over the display of such pictures – sort of similar to many getting upset when bodies and bones of the Nazi Holocaust were publicly displayed. And they have been quite successful in suppressing the publishing of such photos, although photos depicting other forms of violence are constantly displayed for all ages to view -- the exception is the viewing of the mutilated remains of an unborn human being!

Every few days President Obama is sent a letter and at the bottom of that letter is photographic evidence of the results of the productive “work” of some “doctors” (term used very loosely) in this republic.

But there is reason for a few of us to be hopeful in regard to the future – no, not in terms of expecting a sudden turn-around and that the nation and its leaders have at long last come to their senses and said that we have to stop this shedding of innocent blood. But rather, hopeful that God is going to step in and He will take action that will leave no room for doubt that the decision which determined that a woman has a constitutional “right” to destroy her unborn child was the most insane – the most idiotic – the most destructive – the most damning judicial decision ever made in the history of the United States of America!

Joseph Goebbels Would Nod in Hearty Approval with a Big Smile on His Face!

The recent passed stimulus bill by the U. S. Congress is regarded to be the “cure all” needed in the long run for our country’s recovery and reviving of the economy according to David Axelrod, Senior Advisor to President Obama, on February 15, 2009.

Chris Wallace of Fox News interviewed David Axelrod on Sunday, February 15, 2009. Axelrod holds a significant position in the Obama Administration. He possesses the title of Senior Advisor to President Obama. His background is interesting, revealing deep involvement in politics the last number of years. He is a senior partner at the consulting firm, AKP&D Message and Media based in – guess where? – yes, in good old Chicago, home of infamous political shenanigans of the most imaginable kind!

His bond with Obama? Not hard to figure that one – it is reported that Axelrod helped Obama, an Illinois state senator at the time, defeat a primary field of six other Democrats and then go on to a landslide victory in winning a seat in the United States Senate.

Actually from what this man says about anything related to the Obama presidency it might be better to change his title from Senior Advisor to that of Propaganda Minister or something akin to that.

Maybe you remember -- there was this little guy who lived a few decades ago and held a special position in the government of which he was a very important part – he was head of “National Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda” in the Third Reich under Adolph Hitler. He inspired the German people with all kinds of stuff and led them to believe their leader was the best in the world and had their very best interests at heart – all they had to do was listen to their leader and do what he wanted and before they knew it, Germany would enter its promised “golden age!” In fact the thinking was that a Reich would be established that would stand for a thousand years!

In listening to Axelrod you hear nothing but great things being done and planned by B. Hussein Obama. The passage of the recent stimulus bill (which not one member of Congress was able to read in its entirety before voting) is declared to be a great victory and will get this country over this economic “bump in the road!” It’s just the greatest thing since “sliced bread,” to use an ancient cliché.

On bipartisanship as pertaining to the passage of the bill, Obama cannot claim that to be a significant factor as he had hoped -- no Republicans in the House voted for it and 3 turn-coat Republicans (Collins, Snowe and Specter) in the Senate voted for it. Actually these three are Democrats wearing a cloak that says, "Republican!" But masterful Axelrod glosses over all that and discounts it as though it were nothing -- the big thing is that his boss won a major "victory."

Regarding appointments to the cabinet – D. A. insists that the administration has high ethical standards and only selects the highest caliber people to serve. And as could be expected, he gives Timothy (Ooops! I didn’t pay all my taxes!) Geithner very high marks and the fact that this man is brilliant and will help to lead us out of this economic chaos in which we presently find ourselves.

The propaganda choo-choo continues to roar down the tracks with Axelrod indicating the president intends to open things up for government funding of embryonic stem cell research – this means huge numbers of humans in the early stage of formation will be destroyed. This was not the policy set in place by the Bush Administration. But Axelrod paints this scenario as nothing short of being saintly and “saving” the nation by such a change of policy.

And we can assume that this senior White House advisor was completely supportive of Obama’s rather secret signing of an order overturning the former Bush policy which banned the use of funds for use by groups in foreign nations that in the name of “family planning” perform abortions and/or counsel abortion to be the answer to a problem pregnancy!

Further, it is more than an outside possibility that he fully supports President Obama’s intention to sign the Freedom of Choice Act which literally will declare open season on unborn children at any stage of pregnancy, even when they are but minutes away from being born! It would be interesting to hear how this senior advisor would phrase this and attempt to justify it. Certainly it would be in the very spirit and logic of that little guy named Joe who lived decades ago and mislead a nation into believing they were on the road to paradise when in reality they were on the road to collapse, total ruin and destruction.

But if we could resurrect Joseph Goebbels and have him listen to David Axelrod, the propaganda minister of the Third Reich would nod his head in approval and a great big smile would form on his face! If he were to comment, perhaps he would say something like this – “I couldn’t have done it better myself!”

One observation was worded this way: “Dr. Joseph Goebbels convinced a whole nation to abandon their ideals and embark on a frivolous conquest through Europe. He led millions to their destruction. He made a people believe in their Leader up to the bitter end. In short, Dr. Goebbels was a dark genius.”

What might we expect down the road when one who has been elected to lead a republic shows that he takes a very low view of human life and does not give a second thought to the destruction of human beings in the early stages of their development while actually signing orders that expand greatly the “shedding of innocent blood.” All the while, a senior advisor attempts to lead us into believing we are on the threshold of a golden age period never before experienced in the history of our republic!

About once a week a letter is sent to President Obama about the real critical issues which need to be addressed in this nation. At the bottom of that letter is the picture of an unborn child which has been dismembered in the process of terminating its life before it was able to be born because of an insane decision on the part of its “mother” and intentional act on the part of a “doctor.”

A statement above that picture goes something like this – “The Nazis didn’t get away with their version of “Holocaust” and neither shall we with our version of the same!"

By the way – victims in the Nazi version were in the neighborhood of 14 to 15 million, 6 million of which were Jews. We, a professed civilized society, have just passed the 50 million mark a few days after B. Hussein Obama became president! And that is likely a very conservative figure because of sloppy reporting when it comes to the destruction of unborn children plus the human embryos that have been and will be destroyed.

Just something to think about and to remember as the calamities intensify in the days to come -- and as part of that remembering process, think about how leaders in a nation can by their blind and very foolish actions, bring about a response from Almighty God that will be most unpleasant to say the least!

Will the New President Mark This Milestone After Taking Office?

Senator Barack Obama debated his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night and said his biggest mistake was voting with a unanimous Senate to help save Terri Schiavo. Terri is the disabled Florida woman whose husband won the legal right to starve her to death. --- quote from Steven Ertelt, Editor of Lifenews.com, reporting on debate at Cleveland OH on February 26, 2008

It's like a darkening cloud with lightning flashing moving toward us and by the time January 20, 2009 arrives that cloud with its accompanying lightning bolts will be hovering over us!

The evidence is there for anyone with sufficient vision to see it -- the new administration will be rabidly pro-death in its approach to human life as none other preceding it has ever been.

Many appointments by B. Hussein Obama involve persons who are radical when it comes to supporting the policy of destroying unborn children at any stage in their development as God forms them in their mothers' (term used loosely) wombs. If you are not afraid to do so, take some time to ponder God's statement made to one man some time ago and all the implications of that statement: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." --- Jeremiah 1:4, 5

B. O. himself has vowed to sign the Freedom of Choice Act into law once he takes over the presidency. This will be a federal statute that basically will erase whatever limited protection of unborn children has been put in place in the past. Literally, it will be "open season" on the unborn!

Now the question is this -- will the president issue some kind of proclamation marking a significant milestone in this matter of the destruction of the unborn? In just a few days following B.O.'s inauguration the republic of the United States will have destroyed 50,000,000 unborn children since the infamous Roe v. Wade decision of January 22, 1973! So it is only fitting that one who is so dedicated to continuing the practice of destroying unborn children in the name of a so-called "constitutional right" should issue a proclamation -- maybe even make the day on which the 50 millionth victim is executed a holiday and everyone make merry and celebrate the occasion with uplifted glasses!

His many statements about his low view of human life, including the one above related to Terry Schiavo, provide solid proof that B. O. intends to widen and deepen the stream of the shedding of innocent blood in the future -- well, that is, until Almighty God chooses to step in and put a stop to this abomination and rest assured, He will stop it -- it's not a question of whether, but when! It would be most fitting if that interruption in the flow of U. S. history would take place while B. Hussein Obama is occupying the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. Further, if it should happen under his "watch," it will be interesting to see what B. O. and his Democratic controlled Congress will attempt to do to in a feeble and vain effort to counter the anger of a holy God!

Time will tell -- at any rate, this nation continues to exhibit its rebel spirit and shake a defiant clenched fist in the face of the Creator of this universe. The new administration has already served notice that this defiance will continue with whole hearted approval of the United States' version of Holocaust and many other rebel acts added to that as well!

The new president being inaugurated on January 20, 2009 has signaled at this stage by statements and deeds that he will prove to be a 21st Century version of an ancient king who lived centuries ago whose name was Manasseh!

But they paid no attention, and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel. And the LORD spoke by His servants the prophets, saying, "Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations (he has acted more wickedly than all the Amorites who were before him, and has also made Judah sin with his idols), therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle.'"...... Losing in Two Ways!

United Methodist Church membership declined by approximately 74,791 members as of Dec 31, 2007 – United Methodist Church membership was approximately 7,856,752 as of Jan 1, 2008. --- sources include Annual Conference Reports, Newscope, United Methodist News Service and General Council on Finance and Administration

So, what else is new? Annual Conference reports for the United Methodist Church reveal another year of declining membership which brings total U. S. membership below the 8 million level. The pattern has been an annual loss of tens of thousands of members for quite some time. A very few conferences posted some gains, but for most it was the use of that minus sign again. My own conference, W. Pennsylvania, lost 1,738 members during 2007. And this in spite of all the hype and money invested in the kite flying “Believe Again” campaign which has been underway for a while!

It’s almost like an annual “ritual” -- there is the loss of tens of thousands as reported each year, but there is another loss to which no reference is ever made in the United Methodist Church.

That is an unknown number of persons who would have become members of the UMC but they never had a chance – you see, they were the victims of intentional assault and murder before they were born!

A new milestone is about to be reached in “the land of the free and the home of the brave” – soon there will be 50 million unborn victims who will have been mutilated and murdered in their mothers’ wombs since the infamous decision by very blind and very foolish Supreme Court members back in 1973. The terms “blind” and ”foolish” are very applicable because they did not realize the extent of the harvest yet to be reaped by opening such a Pandora’s Box as this.

Anyone out there want to broadcast your ignorance and deny that at least some of those 50 million victims would have become members in United Methodist churches scattered throughout the 50 states of this republic?

The oldest of these would be in their mid-30’s with families and settled well into their careers! Who can fathom what would have been the extent of their contributions made within the fellowship of the church?

You are aware, are you not, that not much discussion or serious concern is raised about this group which could have made some measure of difference in the life of the United Methodist Church?

Yes, I’m fully aware of the fact that the UMC has an “official” statement on the subject of abortion in its Social Principles. That statement, when all the attempts at pious language are honestly analyzed, brings you to an intersection with a flashing green light which says that any woman can get an abortion with sanction from the United Methodist Church – it’s quite simple – all she has to do is say, “This pregnancy is going to bring a lot of undue stress, financial hardship and extensive psychological damage to me!”

That’s it – a free ticket with the UMC stamp of approval to execute an unborn child whom God is forming in the womb for a high and holy purpose.

Will anything be done to try to reverse the losses? Highly unlikely, although there may be some “campaigns” launched to try to lessen those negative yearly numbers reported by the annual conferences, but very, very few if any will mention that just maybe something ought to be done about ending the United States’ version of “Holocaust” – and our number is nearly 3 times the number of victims under the Nazi version in WW II. Just a little something to think about when it comes to the United Methodist Church and its adventure with numbers!

Why Be Upset with Me? What Did I Do?

“We have received phone calls…” --– part of beginning conversation about “complaints” received at headquarters of a United Methodist conference in the United States

It’s a question I have had for some time, and so far, not one person has given me an answer. There are a number of United Methodists, ranking from bishop and clergy to lay persons who occupy the pews of United Methodist Churches somewhere who have expressed intense anger and disagreement with some things they have seen either at my web site or posted on my blog.

The anger seems to be due to a couple of areas primarily to which I have devoted comments and graphics. Those happen to be on the issue of sexual morality and God’s established boundaries of the same and on the issue of United States’ sanction of destroying thousands of unborn children each week of the year.

It sort of came to a “head” when I received a phone call from a member of the bishop’s cabinet in the W. PA Annual Conference. I was told that some phone calls had come in to the conference about my web site and the request was this – (1) would I post a notice that there are graphic pictures that are not suitable for young children to view, and (2), would I post a statement that the views on abortion as presented on my web site do not reflect the official position of the United Methodist Church.

So I really had no problem with that and as anyone can see by looking at Circuit Rider's Range, I have complied with those requests. Just scroll down a bit and you will come to the area where I indicate my compliance to those requests. Use reverse feature on your web browser to come back here.

However, what I do have a problem about is this – why are the people who are so upset with me about posting pictures of aborted unborn children not as disturbed about the guys who do these heinous acts of murder – and that is what it is, is it not? And is it not true that abortion does stop a beating heart? What else can you call it? But I’m the bad guy who makes an issue of it, posts pictures, etc. The guys in the white coats who have ripped unborn children to shreds are the good guys and keep getting very rich in the process! Some of them may even be upstanding and active members of United Methodist churches somewhere!

And further, I have a big problem with the fact that those who are leaders in the denomination in which I am an ordained elder are constantly expressing concern about justice and do not hesitate to denounce what are regarded as "sinful" practices such as gambling, etc. But they are totally silent on the massive “shedding of innocent blood” in this country!

Today, September 1, 2008, some newly elected bishops will take over in certain conferences across the United States. The counter is already ticking in regard to unborn children whose lives will be deliberately terminated while still in the womb. But that nagging question still remains – why get mad at me for raising the issue – why not be upset with the people who do the deeds and the people who “legalized” it – and the people who say it’s a good thing or whatever kind of propaganda is used to try to whitewash what is nothing less than a 21st Century version of Holocaust taking place in the "land of the free and the home of the brave!"

And now, a PS on this matter -- during the course of this ongoing saga I received an email from an ordained elder who was extremely indignant and expressed the same by asking, "Do you believe God approves of your posting those pictures?" (pictures of aborted children). It apparently never crossed his mind to ask the question, "Do you believe God approves of you tearing to pieces that unborn child for which He has plans?", of the guy in the white coat who does the tearing to pieces act and gets paid handsomely for doing so! See what I mean? Why do they get mad at me? And the white coated guy goes merrily on his way to the bank without a whimper of protest?

"For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered to do all these abominations'?" --- Jeremiah 7:5-10

No Matter Whether a Democrat or a Republican Wins the Presidency, the Holocaust Will Continue!

Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin with which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD. --- 2 Kings 21:16

Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon. --- 2 Kings 24:3, 4

It is the one issue that prevails over all the others when it comes to how our republic will fare in the years to come.

That issue is how we treat our unborn future citizens. For years we have, under sanction of the U. S. Supreme Court, been brutally mutilating and murdering over a million unborn children every year for over 35 ½ years. At this point in time the toll is nearly 50 million victims! Yes, it is indeed appropriate to apply the term “holocaust” to such a happening to which a number of politicians, judges, various organizations and even some church leaders give support.

B. O. and his running mate, “plagiarism” Joe, are clearly on record as favoring the continuation of our nation’s version of “holocaust.”

While the Republicans sometimes claim to be pro life, the record speaks otherwise. As clearly pointed out by Chuck Baldwin in a recent column, John McCain Pro Life? What a Joke!, the Republicans did absolutely nothing to stop the shedding of innocent blood while in control of the government for a number of years.

So this is what we have to look forward to starting with the third week of January 2009 – it doesn’t matter if the person taking the oath of office for the presidency is a Democrat or a Republican, the “holocaust” will continue unabated!

However, rest assured the day will come when it will be stopped – not because of human enacted legislation such as the overturning of Roe v. Wade, but due to Almighty God’s direct intervention which will prove to be a most unpleasant experience in ways impossible to imagine!

President B. O? An Unprecedented Nightmare Beginning January 2009!

It appears to be simply a matter of a few months and our republic will be under the domination of President B. O! Will McCain take the White House? Not likely -- there is something about B. O. that is unlike any person yet who has aspired to be president of the United States.

Think about it -- here's a guy who literally came from out of nowhere -- spent a limited time in the Illinois Legislature -- made it for the U. S. Senate on his first try and was selected (or was it a contrived set up?) as keynote speaker at the Democratic Convention last time around in electing a president with bulk of mass media all goo-goo eyed over this guy! It is inaccurate to call it "charisma" -- it is something more than that -- a kind of "anointing" but obviously not from Almighty God!

How could the election of B. O. to be president be a nightmare for the republic of the United States?

First, he's too young for such a position -- a person in his 40's cannot handle that kind of power and position responsibly. He will abuse this thing of issuing "executive orders" -- that is when a president becomes a dictator and by a stroke of the pen issues orders for things to be done -- the Congress is totally bypassed -- and we've already had too much of that in past administrations! Evidence is overwhelming that persons in their 40's elevated to positions of extensive power have abused that power due to lack of wisdom, common sense and failure to fulfill the responsibility in the fear of God!

The attempt might be made to cite John Kennedy as being in his 40's when elected president and that he was a "good" president. That is open to debate -- and what is definitely known is that Kennedy had raging hormones out of control and literally threw his marriage vows out the window more than a couple of times! God has spelled out what is required in those who govern and Kennedy flunked out on those clear requirements!

Second, B. O. will be regarded as the "Commander in Chief" of the military. It will not help the morale of the military branches of service in knowing a kid is in charge of all operations! Plus the fact that this kid has had no military experience whatsoever. It is easy to get reckless in using the power of the military -- and we've seen that happen in times past also!

Third, all indications are that he will be calling for more taxes under some kind of pretense or other. But then politicians in past decades have been notorious for increased taxes -- and once in a while try to convince us that they are our friends by giving a token "rebate" to help the economy! B. O. will not launch any kind of campaign to reduce the burden of our taxes -- it will still be spend, spend, spend, spend (add as many "spends" as you want!).

Fourth, he will zealously support the deceptive "constitutional right" to mutilate and murder unborn children! Further, B. O. will attempt to remove any and all barriers when it comes to protecting the lives of the unborn -- he will be a major contributor to the ongoing U. S. version of Holocaust! He stonewalled the effort in Illinois to protect the lives of the unborn in the late stages of pregnancy!

Of course what B. O. and all governing powers as well as mainline church groups fail to realize is that God has yet to make His response to a nation which claims that all persons should have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! Somehow we seem to have adopted the attitude that God isn't paying any attention to the fact that we have destroyed nearly 50 million unborn children since January of 1973!

Cited above is one king from out of the past who was heady with power and thought he could ignore the holy standards which Almighty God has spelled out for the sane, sensible, healthy, peaceful and ongoing survival of a culture. B. O. will prove to be no exception to this!

Do not mistake these comments to be an endorsement for John McCain. Neither major political party has anything significant to offer when it comes to addressing the most serious ethical, moral and spiritual problems which are pulling our nation along a path to sure and certain destruction!

A number of us will be looking for a third party candidate who exhibits qualities needed such as those found in an effective leader known as Joshua a long time ago. Is such a person out there some where who can lead us out of this spiritual chaos in which we presently find ourselves?

"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. There are those who want to alter the Pledge of Allegiance which we citizens recite from time to time in public settings.

In recent years the controversy has focused on one tiny part of the pledge that contains the words, "under God." In the poverty stricken minds of some, the reference to God is highly offensive. Such reference breaks down the imagined "wall" which is supposed to exist between church and state.

Perhaps such a change should be made with God's name being removed and a few words added, but not because of the shallow "separation of church and state" issue, but for a much greater and extremely critical matter.

This change would then have the final statement of the Pledge of Allegiance saying, "...one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all citizens except for millions yet unborn whom we choose to execute!"

"Outrageous!" "Preposterous!" "Insane!" "How dare you even suggest such a thing!" "You are a candidate for a padded cell!"

Now, now -- let's be reasonable about this and think it through!

Would not such a change more accurately reflect what we as a republic have actually become? Certainly the evidence is overwhelming that we are no longer under the favor and blessing of Almighty God -- our idolatrous, immoral and defiant practices as a nation of 300 million clearly attest to that!

Further, the phrase would boldly advertise to the other nations of this chaotic world that we no longer are civilized but have regressed to a state of savage barbarism!

Yes, there was a time when it was considered a criminal act to destroy the life of an unborn American citizen, but that time ended over 35 years ago -- and we have explicitly established a record that makes the Nazi Holocaust appear as a child's Sunday School picnic by way of comparison! At this point in time the U.S. version of Holocaust outnumbers the Nazi version by more than three to one!

Want to write to your congressman or congresswoman and suggest that the Pledge of Allegiance be changed citing a rock solid reason why such a change should be made?

Three Prominent Buildings in Washington DC Are in Urgent Need of Repainting!

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. If they say, "Come with us, let us lie in wait to shed blood; let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause.." ...my son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path; for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood. --- Proverbs 1:10, 11, 15, 16

Yes, indeedy – certain buildings in Washington DC are in urgent need of repainting! You may ask why this should be since everything looks pretty good from news photos and/or personal observations about the city, etc.

The three prominent buildings which need to be repainted are the White House, the Capitol Building, and the Supreme Court Building which stands not too far from the Capitol.

What color? There is only one appropriate color – blood red! Now, hold on for a moment – think it through and see if that color isn't a more accurate reflection of what the city is about as it hosts the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of the federal government in a republic known as the United States of America.

White symbolizes purity, but by what stretch of the most carnal imagination could one conclude that Washington DC is a display of that very holy and noble trait? No, let's make it a color that tells us what kind of city it really is, not what it pretends or professes to be!

The blood of millions of murdered unborn innocent children must be laid at the doorsteps of these buildings and rest upon the heads of those persons who occupy those buildings!

January 22, 1973 will go down as a date much more infamous than December 7, 1941 – the Japanese sneak attack took a few thousand lives – what the Supreme Court did in January of 1973, with ongoing support by many in the Legislative Branch and indifference by others in that same branch of government, and no serious or prolonged objection from the Executive Branch, the toll is moving up toward 50 million victims! That’s an ocean of innocent blood since 1973!

So that everyone may know – people who see news video and published photos of those buildings – tourists who view them on site – let the White House, the Capitol, and the Supreme Court Building be repainted bloody red in color. That will more accurately reflect and witness to what we have become before the entire world – a nation which has devised its own special tailor-made version of “Holocaust.”

But perhaps before the paint is mixed and the cans opened, God will step in and do some things by way of action that will quickly remind all of us that we really didn’t get away with it after all. Furthermore, in our stupidity of throwing around that term, “constitutional rights,” we will discover too late that our warped interpretation of claiming it is a “constitutional right” to shed innocent blood does not supersede the moral laws of Almighty God Who had a special plan in mind for each one of those millions of victims!

Zealous to Save from Malaria, But....!!!

PA Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. At the recent session of the conference in June the color orange was prominent as youth wore tee shirts of that color with the caption on the back as noted in above photo --

SEND A NET, SAVE A LIFE
Bishop Thomas Bickerton is to be commended for his zealous leadership in this campaign in which it has been reported that the denomination is more than half way toward its $3 million dollar goal of providing netting for families in parts of Africa where as many as 1 million children die from malaria each year. Bishop Bickerton has heavily stressed these mortality rates.

All well and good -- a worthy project in any man's language which has had an enthusiastic reponse by groups of all ages. High profile press coverage has helped immensely. Many lives will be saved in the times ahead because of this endeavor.

BUT the bishop, along with all his colleagues, is totally silent about the fact that about 1 million unborn children are brutally mutilated and murdered in this country each year. Tally at this point in time is over 48 million victims of the United States' tailor made version of "Holocaust!"

United Methodist bishops are quite notorious regarding their silence on the destruction of thousands of unborn children every week of the year. They will issue joint statements on all kind of social and moral matters ranging from the war in Iraq, gambling, the death penalty, concern for children (the born ones, that is), etc.

The bishops clearly expressed their displeasure that a practicing homosexual was denied church membership by a pastor who was attempting to counsel the man to repent of his sins. The homosexual refused to repent. But the way the bishops put it, if a guy is practicing sodomy regularly with his "lover" and wants to become a member of the United Methodist Church no pastor should stand in the way of granting that desire! Whew! It gets pretty deep sometimes, doesn't it?

One bishop told me in written communication that she agrees with the position of the UMC on abortion which is really one that gives a "green light" to abortion on demand. So for her, whatever shifting the denomination does in taking positions on issues at its General Conference gatherings, she will go along every time. The logic of this says that if the UMC delegates voted that we should all jump off the Golden Gate Bridge, then we should do so and not question the action! This is what you call "marching in lockstep, no questions to be asked!"

Fortunately, there are still a few folks around the denomination (pastors and laity) who refuse to buy in to this philosophy. They usually are not popular people and often are branded as being fanatical, narrow-minded, unloving, and even unChristian!

Remember, we will be told that we need to do all we can to prevent malaria deaths in Africa, but not a syllable coming from those fellows and girls that make up a special group known as the Council of Bishops of the United Methodist Church!

Don't look for one in any United Methodist Church annual conference session anytime soon -- just maybe when God makes His response, as He surely will, to this abomination of slaughtering the innocents in their mothers' wombs there might be the formation of special "committees" to study the issue and then report back to the next annual conference session -- if there is one!

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, "Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, 'Hear the word of the LORD, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the LORD!'" Are You As Angry with the Ones Who Actually Do It As You Are with Me?

As the late Barney Fife, deputy sheriff of the Andy Griffith Show, would say, "Andy, we have a situation!"

The "situation" I'm in, and have been for some time is this: I have received irate emails over time and at least one phone call about the posting of pictures on my web site, Circuit Rider's Range located at www.crrange.com, of aborted unborn children. These have come from a variety of persons including some who hold a position of "church leader!"

I would be the first to admit -- the pictures are not pretty -- in fact, about all the very negative words you can find in Webster's could be applied in describing the images.

Now here's the mystery -- see if you can solve it -- I'm raked over the coals for posting the pictures, but how often do these same people, including those pious "church leaders," express the same degree of indignation toward the guys in the white coats who have the initials "M.D." erroneously stitched on those coats and who rip those unborn children to shreds for a few hundred dollars per child? It happens about 100,000 times per month on average in this republic which claims to be "one nation under God!"

Is there a word for that which starts with hypo... something or other?

This little comment is primarily directed toward such persons with a closing question -- "When are you going to get consistent on your approach to the United States' version of Holocaust?"

And for the rest of you, if you should have the misfortune of crossing paths with such persons or worse yet, you should discover you have one of them standing in the pulpit of your church, ask them the question!

As noted in another area it will be like witnessing a worm thrown into a hot skillet!

Way to Go, George, But There's Just One More Thing!

President Bush has stirred up a hornet's nest by vetoing a bill which would have compelled us taxpayers to financially support the deliberate destruction of human embryos, as he described it at a special photo op on June 20th.

Those few of us who still hold to fact that when a female egg cell is united with a male sperm cell then a miracle takes place and a human being is in the process of formation for a nine month period before being born into the world.

The president has claimed to be pro-life in his position and it would seem so, in light of the his veto of a bill which, if it had been signed by him, would have resulted in mass destruction of human embryos in stem cell research.

BUT at the same time he has shown absolutely no real concern over the fact that about 100,000 unborn children (also very human) are destroyed every month of the year in this republic.

You remember, do you not, how aggressive he was in telling us that Saddam Hussein just had to go and a preemptive strike was necessary in order to bring this about -- it was a 24/7 campaign waged through the mass media and you remember what happened back in March of 2003?

Now compare how aggressive he has been in reminding us that the brutal mutilation and murders of unborn children has to be stopped at once -- how often have you heard him devote a news conference to this moral crisis? How often has his administration initiated legislation to halt the slaughter? Sure, it may get shot down by the many legislators who couldn't care less that mutilated remains of unborn children are thrown into a garbage can as casually as they throw a soda can into the garbage after swilling down its contents! But at least the guy could make an effort to give some credibility to his claim of being "pro-life!"

Sadly, it seems that the number of those who are really disturbed about the destruction of the unborn is shrinking -- there just aren't that many who are speaking up and protesting the slaughter, or sounding the warning of what will happen if it isn't stopped!

And that's where Almighty God comes into the picture -- review again some statements which indicate clearly that the unborn are known and fully identified by Him before conception in the womb:

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." --- Jeremiah 1:5

My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. Psalm 139:15,16

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love... --- Ephesians 1:3,4

To those who have a sensitivity to this revelation, it becomes crystal clear that God not only knows and identifies us before we have been conceived in our mother's wombs, but He also has a specific purpose for us as we live our lives on earth!

Unfortunately, most political leadership as well large numbers of church leaders have struck out on this fundamental fact of life in the United States -- the daily destruction of unborn children in a republic that has a historic document which stresses the "unalienable rights" which each human is to be granted, including "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," isn't really that important! And so they keep their mouths shut on this one -- they may spout off on a lot of other issues, but destruction of unborn children? Why that's a complex issue, didn't you know?

Guess what? It's not going to be very complex when God makes His response to the United States' "Holocaust!"

But they mingled with the Gentiles and learned their works; they served their idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood. Thus they were defiled by their own works, and played the harlot by their own deeds. Therefore the wrath of the LORD was kindled against His people, so that He abhorred His own inheritance. And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those who hated them ruled over them. Nothing But Nets and Saving Children!

Bickerton of the Western PA Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in January 19, 2007 issue of InterLink, the conference newspaper.

Bishop Thomas J. Bickerton is deeply involved and totally committed to the "Nothing But Nets" campaign. He is the head man of the Western PA Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. This piece of real estate takes in about the western 1/3 of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The conference has been saturated with information and challenge to get involved by purchasing insecticide-treated bed nets to curtail the spread of malaria in Africa.

Statistics cited by Bishop B. are that about 1 million people die a year from malaria and of that number, about 750,000 are children. Hence, the appeal to go to the rescue and start reducing the number of fatalities.

This is not intended to take away from the effort nor diminish its importance. My wife and I will be giving support to this effort. [NOTE: If you go to the Nothing But Nets web site, the stats there will tell you that 1 million children a year are victims of malaria which is a quarter of a million more than quoted by Bishop B. above.]

However, it is necessary to point out a glaring inconsistency here which is quite commonplace among UMC bishops, particularly in recent decades as they have stressed the need to be in ministry to children.

Bishop Bickerton is pushing the NBN campaign and states that about 3/4 of a million children in Africa die each year from malaria. Now then, how often have you heard this bishop deplore (either in vocal statements or in his InterLink column) the fact that well over 1 million unborn children are deliberately mutilated and murdered each year in "the land of the free and the home of the brave?"

The bishop is also at the heart of the "Believe Again" strategic plan for ministry in the W. PA Annual Conference which was enthusiastically adopted last June at the annual meeting. One of the plush "perks" he will personally get in time will be a full time assistant to the tune of a few tens of thousands of dollars per year!

A part of the strategy in this "plan" is an emphasis on church congregations addressing issues of injustice and seeking to come to the assistance of those who are the victims of injustice.

I have yet to receive a reply from the bishop or any of his superintendents (there are 10 of these people) when I asked them in a personal letter addressed to each if they as leaders were going to address the issue of injustice that results in the intentional and brutal murders of over 1 million unborn children each year in this republic.

There has been this strange and very unsettling silence on the part of UMC leadership over the years when it comes to the United States' version of "holocaust." Perhaps this takes place because of the "official" statement in the denomination's Book of Discipline relative to the subject of abortion. The United Methodist Church is on record as declaring a "reluctance" to approve of abortion, but then after mentioning the reluctance thing, goes right ahead and gives a green light to the heinous practice anyway, saying that an unacceptable pregnancy may bring about hardship, stress or whatever!

In personal communication with bishops over the years, one told me that she stands by the position of the church (as cited above), so whatever the church decides at a General Conference (every 4 years) that is what she will support. Presumably if the UMC decided to jump off the highest point of the Grand Canyon into the river below, she would jump too without objection. Another bishop did go so far as to state in a response that abortion is a serious issue, but I was making too much of the issue, etc!

Unfortunately there are too many United Methodists who hold bishops in higher regard than Roman Catholics hold the Pope! When they say "Jump!" the standard response is "How high, and for how long?" And when they speak there are those who hold that every word spoken is "gospel truth," but documented evidence can prove otherwise in a number of cases! There are still a few of us that believe there is a much higher Authority than any designated church leader, UMC bishops included, and sometimes this will mean we definitly will be marching to the beat of a different Drummer!

How about rephrasing Bishop Bickerton's statement above with use of another word in this manner --

"Wow! Imagine it -- a world without abortion. Millions of people given the same chance as you and I to live a long, healthy, and sustainable life."

Do you think the bishop would be willing to make such a statement and lead the way to making that a reality with enthusiastic support from his fellow bishops?

We all know the answer to that one, do we not?
