Emails – A Revelation in Sharp Contrasts!

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. --- Romans 1:28-32

He (Jesus Christ) was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. Within a little over a 24 hour period I received two emails which stand in stark contrast with each other. Over the years I have received a number of email responses to my web site, Circuit Rider’s Range, and also responses to my blog, Musings of a Maverick.

Some have been extremely negative and others have been most complimentary, positive and encouraging. But because of the time element in which these two emails arrived and being so different from each other, I decided to share them with those who happen to stop by Musings from time to time.

The first one arrived yesterday, May 25th, at 1:36 AM. Here is what was said – be forewarned at one point that the writer refers to my God as a S.O.B – so here it is, warts and all, exactly as received in my mail box!

I pray your God delivers all that it says it will -- for I have read your scriptures and your God is really an evil son of a bitch ---- AND if your God's testamony of prayer is true, I pray that you will learn --- your God is as evil as all the other gods.
Anyone who prays to any God is a hipicrite for ALL Gods are manmade --- " the doctrins of men "

If you do not attempt to understand the real you --- the power that is you ---- you will be lost to eternal recycling of your soul.

You are a part of all that is, in the final deffination when it's all said and done --- all that is IS all that is --- there IS no greater or lesser ---- YOU are all and all is you.

Have you ever stopped to study your inner self --- what about that voice that guides you --- is that God or is that an inner voice --( your voice ) ---- or is it an enity of the past that wants to direct you and you call the voice God.

All that you believe in is nothing more than the doctrins of men ---- please stop and start to ask questions.

The goodness and well wishes of a person has nothing to do with the ------- " doctrins of a God " --- those wishes are the true feelings of that person --- what you feel is what you react upon --- those feelings are YOU.

Right now in this day and age ---- MONEY is the real God --- money is what all persons pray to and react to --- we are the puppets and money is the controllimg agent.

I would love to share opinions with you --- I am as sick as all the others and I am as controlled as all the others --- but I try my best to keep an open mind.

If you are the positive --- then I will be the negative ---- so that a zero point of condemplation can be ascertained ---- whatdeyah think ?
I would love to communicate with the real you ------ do not be shy --- say what you feel --- you can not hurt me.

The second to which I make reference arrived this morning (May 26) at 3:59 AM. It is very short and to the point as you will see:

Hello my name is (full name has been omitted to protect privacy of the individual) I am 19 years old and I have just accepted Jesus Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior.

I always attempt to respond to emails sent, even if I am cursed and called every name under the sun. In some cases this is not easy, but God always makes a way and gives the words which ought to be spoken. A few years ago He put it on my heart to start the web site witness and then later to supplement that with the blog. Since that time emails have come in from different locations in the U. S. and many foreign nations as well.

Now the question – how would you respond to that first one? Avoid the temptation to write off that person as being unworthy of a response. I will respond – I would like to know how you would address the statements made. If you want to email me and tell me how you might go about it, I would welcome that.

The second email will also receive a response – since I have received similar emails before, I already have in mind the nature of the response which will be to rejoice with the person in the decision to accept Jesus Christ and to encourage discipline and growth in the faith, etc. I suspect that in some cases at least, such persons have been challenged to make a decision in light of my page titled, “How to Become a Christian”

Ah, the adventure continues – one never knows what God has in store around the next bend in the road, does one?

Special Notice for Those Sharing Millions of Dollars!

This is for that huge number of persons who send me emails offering to share a few million dollars with me for a small favor on my part.

Since there are so many of you who have access to someone's estate or an inheritance which nobody is claiming and this involves a lot of emailing to find someone willing to enter into a partnership with you, I have designed a form which will expedite the proceedings. Also, the grammar will be reasonably correct since I have a better command of the English language than you who still have a serious problem with the language -- the proper use of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and sentence structure can be a real pain, can it not? So feel free to copy and paste the form and insert the names and other vital information as suggested and then delete the suggestions. Once you get your millions with the help of some U.S. citizen, maybe you could send me a few thousand dollars for use of the form! Let's just say I work on a commission basis in this sort of thing. S. dollars in an extra large piggy bank in the left corner of the third cemetery (or insert other location) on the road going south out of (insert name of town).

I have recovered this money but need to have it transferred to your country. I have complete faith that you will be willing to have these funds transferred to your personal bank account. I ask that you divide these funds as follows: you take (insert percentage, but no higher than 30%) and the balance will be mine. The generous amount which you receive will be compensation for entering into this partnership.

Please provide me with the following information: your name, postal address, phone number, and bank account number.

Also, please keep this matter very confidential. As soon as I receive the requested information from you, I will immediately begin the process for the transfer of the funds to your account. You will receive processing papers which will give further instructions as to what you must do to complete the transfer.

In closing I want to inform you that I am a born again Christian and have been diagnosed with cancer. My doctor informs me that I only have a few months to live. So your prompt attention to this matter is extremely important for the benefit of the both of us.

If I had all those millions of dollars which have been offered to me these past few years I would have a fortune that would compete with big name millionaires!

Sadly there have been people who have taken the "bait" and gotten badly burned financially in these scams that just keep going like the Energizer Bunny!

This type of scam takes many forms but it has only been in recent months that they have been weaving the "born again Christian" and the terminal cancer scenario into the offers for you and me to become millionaires.

As for me, I will continue to pass up these offers on the basis that I'm in line to receive some things that make the millions of dollars offered in this world look like putrid garbage by way of comparison! Read it for youself......

An Email Which Really Made My Day!

I receive a lot of emails. The volume has increased over the years since the establishment of my web site, Circuit Rider's Range, back in 1998.

Due to the content of the Range, there are some very negative emails which come my way from time to time -- the kind which I cannot and will not quote to you due to language used. Sometimes I almost feel bad that I have caused some people's blood pressure to reach the mortal danger level -- note that I said, "almost!"

But there have been the supportive and encouraging kind as well. With Bob's permission, I am printing his email here as I received it:

Hey Clayton----Just a note to say, because I have so much idle time on my hands, I have been exploring your web site everyday and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Have read many of the articles and find them very interesting. There is one place in there where you ask the question, Will you meet me in Heaven? I can, with absolute
certainty say, that I will meet you in Heaven someday. Because of a very precious Mother who led me to the Cross of Calvary, I was able to settle that account with the Lord many years ago. Mother told me many times, beware, because Satan is still active upon this earth and will constantly be reminding you of your past. She always told me to be like that old mule dad had. We didn't need a line on him, but he had to have blinders on to keep him from being tempted from going to the right or left when we plowed corn. He could only see straight ahead. We have to be the same way, and keep our eyes and mind focused straight ahead on Jesus. She said, being a christian will not be easy, but knowing that the Precious Blood of Jesus has washed away your sins and they will be remembered no more. Never look back and let Satan tempt you. And believe me, he tries very hard. Past and present !!! I have been through many trials in my life, as you already know, but God has always sustained me. And for that, I give Him all the Praise and Glory. And thank Him every day. I just wanted to share this with you. Sometimes these winter days get pretty long. And yes, I will meet you in Heaven some day. As a matter I'm looking forward to it. And if for some reason I would leave this old earth before you, just remember, I'll be watching and waiting for you, and hope you will do the same for me. We have been good friends for nearly 35 years and been through more things than you could shake a stick at. Sometimes when I'm just setting here thinking, I start to laugh. If someone seen me they would think I was loosing my marbles. Well, keep up the good work and the faith. God's speed to you.

Another related subject is discussed at Reminders When Mansion Shopping! This one is important from the stand point of getting distracted (and maybe a bit envious) when we see the elaborate mansions people of wealth and influence have accumulated and lavished upon themselves over time.

Strange, is it not, that a majority of persons in our republic when making plans for the future limit those plans in terms of a few days, weeks, months, years, or to the point of retirement, but do not make any serious plans for that moment of crossing the great divide from time into eternity! The average rate of death is still one per person!

"Do You Think God Approves of Your Posting Those Pictures?"

"Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. -- Isaiah 58:1

I am an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. My membership as an elder is in the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference, which takes in about 1/3 of the western portion of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I was in the ministry for a total of 37 years before "official" retirement in 1996. At present time I serve as pastor of Gipsy Christian Church in Gipsy, PA on a part time basis. It is located about 27 miles northwest of where we live in Belsano PA.

Shortly after retirement God laid it on my heart to start a web site witness and ministry. It finally came together and there were certain confirmations from time to time that this is what God wanted me to do.

In the process of discussing critical issues of the day, I got into the subject of abortion as perhaps one of the greatest moral crises this republic has ever faced. Eventually in this discussion I posted pictures of aborted babies on the web site.

One day I got an irate email from a member of the Board of Ordained Ministry of my conference. There were 2 main things he said in his anger as directed toward me:

1. He asked me if I thought that God would approve the posting of those pictures on my web site.

2. He said that he wished he would have been on the Board when I went through the process -- that is, the examination and interviews required before being approved for ordination. The implication was that he would have definitely given me a thumbs down in regard to approval.

I responded in this manner in my reply:

First, I informed him that the issue was not whether God gave His approval to my posting some pictures of mutilated and murdered unborn children, but rather the REAL issue is whether or not God approves of this country destroying 1 million or more unborn children each year -- that is THE issue!

Second, I further informed him that when I went through the "process" he was likely still in training pants and his mother was teaching him how to brush his teeth and wash behind his ears! That statement was made to help the youngster get a bit of perspective on the fact that I've been around the block a few times and have witnessed the spiritual and moral unraveling of this republic to a much greater degree than he! Then again, perhaps he doesn't consider a million or more unborn children being deliberately destroyed each year in the name of "constitutional rights" a moral problem -- many don't, including church leaders, politicians, social workers, teachers, media people -- there's a whole gang out there that says there's absolutely nothing wrong with the practice of exterminating the unborn!

From time to time there have been those such as he who have sent emails expressing outrage over the posted images of mutilation and murder of unborn children. My challenge is always this -- "Why do you get mad at me for posting the pictures? Why don't you express some outrage at those who commit these criminal acts, but are never charged with murder -- in fact, they make big bucks from the 'business,' have big bank accounts, drive luxury automobiles, and live in mansions!"

So far as I know, none of these persons who have been very angry with me have taken up the challenge to this very day!

In this BLOG area are links listed under various subjects. One of these subjects is titled, "Read About the Greatest Massacre in United States History!" There you will find a large amount of information on this subject.

The question to be considered as I often pose it in one form or another on the subject of the United States' unique version of "holocaust" is this: how long do you think Almighty God is going to allow this destruction of persons for whom He has a high and holy purpose continue? When He does make His response we can be sure of one thing -- none of us will want to be within the boundaries of the U.S.A. when that response is revealed!

"The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it." -- Jeremiah 18:7-10

What About that Obama Fellow in the U.S. Senate?

I received some forwarded emails on being alert to Senator Barack Obama who has expressed more than a tad of interest in becoming the next president of the United States. The emails provided "information" on his background and training, including attendance at a school identified as being Muslim. Then an email decried this tactic, appealing to what he has written and stated in recent years, as well as his becoming a member of a church in Chicago. I sent a "Reply All" email in response to all this barage -- here it is ---------------------

Hi ..........and All:

I have been the recipient of emails on the subject of Barack Obama from a number of sources, and it seems I am on the mailing list of a rather large number of persons and groups. The fact that the mass media seems to be enraptured with him and he is considered a kind of charismatic personality so suddenly thrown into the national and international spotlight is a challenge for any person of voting age to consider.

It is unfortunate that some information seems to want to categorize him as a Muslim "terrorist."

Checking into his background and some of his own statements in his writings would qualify him to be more in line with what is known as very liberal Christianity which has had a very negative and detrimental influence in this country for decades.The essense of that brand of "faith" is a questioning of portions of the holy Scriptures if not outright denial and support of moral standards and practices which God clearly condemns in His revelation to us (i.e. acceptance of homosexuality and lesbianism as a legitimate way of life; support of abortion on demand, etc.) -- liberal theology has done its greatest damage in church circles by denying the reality of Who Jesus Christ really is, His purpose for coming to earth, His literal resurrection from the dead, and His promised return to earth again!

Here are 2 quotes from B. Obama in his book, Audacity of Hope:

“I thought of Sasha, asking me once what happened when we die— ‘I don’t want to die, Daddy,” she had added matter-of-factly—and I hugged her and said, ‘You’ve got a long way to go before you have to worry about that,’ which seemed to satisfy her. I wondered whether I should have told her the truth, that I wasn’t sure what happens when we die, any more than I was sure where the soul resides or what existed before the Big Bang.” P 126

“I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.” P 222

Those who have experienced the reality of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and know His presence with them in daily life are not hesitant about what happens to them at death and they know the essential facts of how this universe got its start and the fact that we were all identified and known in the mind of God even before we were conceived in our mothers' wombs -- further, that God has a plan for every conceived human being (Check Jeremiah 1:4,5 and Psalm 139 on this matter).

Actually, neither political party has anything significant to offer the 300 million citizens of our republic. There are sources on the internet which can verify that elected officials have been concerned mainly with their own salaries and lavish perks as opposed to what they can do for the benefit of the citizens they claim to represent. Anyone will be more than a bit upset when they compare elected officials' salaries and perk benefits with that of the average citizen they say they represent!

It is doubful that Obama or any other member of congress or presidentail candidate will do anything constructive about this glaring hypocrisy.Worse than that is the fact that this republic destroys on average about 100,000 unborn children every month of the year. Even under a professing "pro-life" president nothing has been done to curb the United States' version of "holocaust!"

Barack Obama's voting record on issues concerning the unborn has been more pro-abortion than pro-life!

Who will be elected as our next president in 2008? Right now, it's anybody's guess -- but whoever wins it, it is highly doubtful that the individual can exert the influence necessary to see this country do a 180 degree turn and start taking the call and claims of Jesus Christ seriously!Read the books of Jeremiah and Ezekiel to see why I just said that.
