That Gulf Oil Spill - A Certain Fact Commonly and Vigorously Denied!

Therefore thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them. --- Jeremiah 11:11

"Because you have burned incense and because you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD or walked in His law, in His statutes or in His testimonies, therefore this calamity has happened to you, as at this day." --- Jeremiah 44:23

It is dominating news everywhere on a worldwide basis and the longer the crisis continues, the more the assignment of blame and responsibility escalates! One wonders if President Obama's hatchetman, Rahm Emanuel, continues to play the favorite string on his fiddle which gushes a familiar tune, "Never let a crisis go to waste."

As the president continues to wear out Air Force One (will hundreds of millions have to be spent for a replacement before his term ends?) he is finding out as he walks along beaches with oil penetrating them that things just don't happen automatically when he opens his mouth and gives a command -- you know, like "Fix that ##$$@@%% leak!"

What is really pathetic in this happening is the fact that the president, his administration, the members of the U.S. Congress and the "experts" on deep sea oil drilling fail to realize another dimension in what is termed an environmental disaster of the first magnitude.

Since we have for decades as a nation chosen to give the Creator of the universe an obscene gesture as to our response to His claims and His call that we repent of our sins, receive His Son, Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord, and commit to seeking His holy will and purpose for us, then we can only expect a series of calamities in our national experience as the blessings of God are withdrawn!

God has clearly established the fact that a sane, sensible, serene, stable, secure, and stellar society is experienced on basis of total obedience to Him. To reject Him is to become the target of unimaginable calamities and ultimately judgment and total destruction if there is refusal to repent. The principles as to how this comes into play are spelled out throughout the Scriptures, but especially in Deuteronomy 28. In that chapter a sharp contrast is drawn as to what happens when a nation obeys God as opposed to what happens when disobedience is chosen by the majority of the citizens and its leaders!

There will be large numbers who will vehemently deny that God has anything to do whatsoever with what happened in the Gulf of Mexico. Granted, there are any number who deny that God even exists, or if He does, He just kind of looks on indifferently as to what is going on in this world. A greater number may claim there is a God and that they "believe" in Him -- but they live day by day as though He doesn't exist -- what some describe as being a "practical atheist" -- insisting there is a God but denying Him by personal lifestyle!

But what if.....?

Yes, the day will likely come that just maybe the leak will be "fixed" but the damage that has taken place up to that moment is impossible to fully and accurately calculate. Plus the fact that for those willing to face the reality, there is the recognition that Almighty God does interact with the members of the human race and the nations into which they are divided. What is on the divine "agenda" so far as the schedule of future calamities are concerned as Jesus Christ tarries in His personal return to this confused and chaotic world?

"And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would bring this calamity upon them." --- Ezekiel 6:10

Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them.' --- Deuteronomy 32:35

Partying in Williamsburg VA!

President Obama spoke of his first ride in Air Force One and expressed with a big smile, “I like it.”

It was truly a case of “birds of a feather flocking together” as the Democrats held a retreat in Williamsburg VA. They couldn’t do this without President B. Hussein Obama joining them and being on center stage at one point in this circus. He obviously is having no difficulty in adjusting to being center stage wherever he is or wherever he goes in his travels.

And how did he get there? Well, what better opportunity to try out Air Force One than to go to the Dems’ retreat in Williamsburg VA which is only about 147 miles down the road from DC! Marine One (the president’s personal helicopter) could have made the trip with much less expense – so much for a little sacrifice and a bit of savings to the American taxpayer from one who has talked and talked and talked (add as many talks as you want even if it fills an 18 wheeler to the point of overload in its load capacity!) about sacrificing, cutting back on some expenses and foregoing some “luxuries” we may have been used to – such as running those gas guzzling SUV’s!

His attempt at some humor would earn him a –F grade, or if the grading system has been revised to go all the way to Z, then he would get a -Z. He mentioned that his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel (who has a big foul mouth reputation), was teaching profanity to underprivileged children! This one got howls of laughter indicating the amused ones are plagued with an ignorance that defies description. First, they (including the president) are extremely ignorant of how Almighty God views profanity and a filthy mouth that spews out the same! Second, there obviously is no desire to set a noble example in conduct and speech for children and youth. These people who are supposed to be leaders fulfill the definition of profanity by one wise observer who declared that “profanity is the effort of a feeble mind trying to express itself forcibly!”

The president took an ample amount of time to further compliment Democratic leaders for their work. He especially praised Nancy Pelosi for her work in the House of Representatives and help with the gigantic stimulus bill being proposed. Queen Nancy, you remember, is Speaker of the House and the one who just recently made the statement about 500 million Americans losing their jobs – yes, that’s what she said – it’s on video. But not to be too hard on the Queen of the House – perhaps she was also including a few generations not yet born – that is, those who manage to survive the abortion binge the country is on at the present time. The United States only has about 305 million population in this year of 2009!


And the president had to take a shot at some cable networks though he did not specifically name any – but he used the term, “cable chatter,” different times, failing to realize he was on some cable channels himself as he stumped for that stimulus bill – was that not a bit of “cable chatter?” At least some citizens would prefer the other kind of “chatter” – it’s easier to stomach than is the Obama brand!

A confession – watching and listening to the antics presently taking place in Washington DC can be a very depressing experience – especially when you see no evidence produced by those elected officials that they are willing to do some sacrificing while piously calling upon us citizens to tighten our belts and do the sacrificing until things improve!

So I say again as I have often said previously – hang on, keep the faith and remember that it will not always be like this and we will not always be saddled with such leadership as presently exists at both state and federal levels – God is going to do a big change one of these days throughout this world – a change that is far beyond our limited ability to begin to comprehend. The below statement says it all!

“Tough Guy” As Chief of Staff? Why Not Someone Much More Superior?

There you have it – what better way can it be said as to the character of the person who fills the position of Chief of Staff in the Obama kingdom? That in itself should tell us that the future of our republic is far from bright and we'll not make it to the Obama "promised land" as we have been led to believe!

God has spelled out clearly what all persons must do in order to be under His blessing and receive guidance in order to insure future peace, prosperity, security and contentment.

It begins with a spirit of repentance, the realization of the need of God’s mercy and forgiveness and a commitment to serve Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is extremely rare for those in the business of politics to make such a beginning or confess to such a need. But once in a great while it does happen. B. Hussein Obama’s Chief of Staff provides no solid evidence that he has chosen to go this route – read again the Carney description!

Now read some things God has to say about how it is to be if we are going to rightly relate to Him and experience the fullness of His blessings:

He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? --- Micah 5:8

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart; these, O God, You will not despise. --- Psalm 51:17

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. --- 1 Peter 5:6, 7

However, the most powerful statement on the issue of either doing it our way (being a tough guy) or God’s way is declared by Jesus in John 15 – note carefully the specifics for experiencing the best in life:

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” --- John 15:1-8

A Chief of Staff who submits his will to the will of God in humility will do a much better job in that awesome position, will he not? Honesty dictates that such a person would be far superior to the one now selected to hold that position. But on the other hand, he would be as much out of place in the Obama nation as a lamb in a stadium filled with hungry wolves!

Don't forget -- there is a solid fact to remember as this republic continues to slide down the slippery slope toward inevitable judgment and disaster -- even “tough guys” will come to a place where their foul mouths will be silenced and right on schedule

they have to face the reality well described by the famous Gomer Pyle, “Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!” Guess what? It’s now time to face the Judge of all human beings and answer as to why His holy will was totally ignored and a course of action was pursued which led to unprecedented disaster for millions!

And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" --- Revelation 6:15-17

Good News! An Abortionist Missed Out on One!

For You have formed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. I received an email (quoted below the third paragraph) and the exciting thing about what it reveals was the fact that an abortionist missed out on making a few hundred bucks in a situation which is detailed! Our newly elected president, B. Hussein Obama, is solidly behind the grisly practice of destroying unborn children for about any excuse imaginable. In a speech to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund on July 17, 2007 he said, “The first thing I’d do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” By the way, you should not be surprised to learn that he became a co-sponsor of that deadly legislation (S. 1173 – House version is H.R. 1964) on May 11, 2007. As an aside – my mother’s birthday was May 11th – I’m sure glad she didn’t practice what our newly elected president preaches!

And B. Hussein Obama’s selected Chief of Staff, Congressman Rahm Emanuel, along with a number of others introduced the FOCA in the House of Representatives on April 19, 2007. What would be an appropriate term for this – co-conspirators? After all, doesn’t it qualify as a plot to take the lives of a number of innocent persons?

Some church groups have statements about abortion, do a fancy dance about the ins and outs of the practice, and then end up giving approval to abortion because a pregnancy might bring about distressing “hardship” to a female – if you want to see how they “justify” destroying unborn children, read the United Methodist Church’s statement on abortion in its Social Principles section in the Book of Discipline! There are very few United Methodists who vehemently protest the “shedding of innocent blood” in this country – and that includes the leadership which chooses to be very silent on this issue! One has to wonder how United Methodists or those in other “mainlines” would have counseled the young lady mentioned below in the early months of her pregnancy

I don't know you, but I see you are from Mav. Thank you for sending me this, and for the stand you are making. When I was very young, and VERY unsure about life, much less my own life I was pregnant and was afraid of the baby's father. My own family, as wealthy as they are, didn't want anything to do with me, and to this day I still don't know why they don't, but nevertheless I had no help with this life. I was told over and over to have an abortion. I had no one. I feared my baby's dad, and I had no money, no work, and no one, but I still could not kill my baby. Fast forward to today. I just talked to that baby who is now (age withheld) years old and is heading for work in the (name withheld) field and (name withheld) field. He is VERY smart, and extremely loving person. So I buck the system that tells you that it's TOO HARD to go this by yourself. You need to just get rid of your problem. He was not a problem, and never has been. The milli-second he was conceived he was my son, and that's it, and that's all. No if, ands, or buts about it.

It's not popular to speak about these things, but I don't care. Doesn't matter to me. If you don't like it then go the other way is my feeling about it. No one pays my bills and have nothing to do with keeping me out of Heaven so I don't care about mouthing off to people, who don't have a clue about other people’s lives or what put them there. Of course, if you have faith then you CAN believe, but that's not always the lot that each and every person has. It's hard to believe when your FATHER figure hurt you all your life.

So, again, I thank you for the stand you make, and respect a person that is PRO for the living.

Sure you can. If what I went thru can save even one life it was worth it all. I would be honored. My son is one of my joys in this life, and never for one moment did I EVER give it a thought to end his life. It was never so much as a fleeting thought even. It has proven out to be the good thing I knew it would be to save my baby's life from all the naysayers!!!!

He is a joy, and a confirmation that God is not one to make a mistake. He is perfection in EVERY situation. If the mother's health will be in dire straits then I believe it is warranted to end that pregnancy, because God has her here for a reason, and has that child’s life in His hands in the Heavenlies, but other than that I don't believe a child should be aborted; even if it involves rape.

I do not believe in ending a life. It is murder.

Isn’t it wonderful that a profiteering abortionist lost out in this case, which in the unbelieving world’s view, a son who is now making a positive contribution in our republic should have been mutilated and murdered while still in his mother’s womb?
