Why Quibble About Abortion in PelosiCare?

Abortion appears to be main reason for conflict in resolving the health care issue in House of Rep’s bill --- Numerous news releases from a variety of sources providing information on Health Care legislation in House of Representatives

It seems the major “sticking point” in the nearly 2,000 page legislation proposal on government health care before the House of Representatives was the funding of abortions with U. S. tax dollars.

There are those, including Queen Pelosi, who want a provision in the bill in which abortions will be paid for through the tax dollars which will fund this Frankenstein model of proposed legislation. And there are a few who are opposed to it.

Why spend time arguing over it? Let it in the bill – let as many females who desire to do so, get abortions and have them paid for by our tax dollars as a fringe benefit of the government operated health care plan.

Why object to this? Our country has been in the abortion business ever since January 1973. There have been over 50 million unborn children brutally mutilated and murdered since that time when the Supreme Court ruled in effect that it is every woman’s “constitutional right” to have her unborn child destroyed if she so chooses!

No president in all the years since has been really aggressive to get this ended, though a few claimed to be “pro-life.” And the Congress is so messed up in its value system that nothing of substance will ever take place there when it comes to protection and preservation of the unborn!

Added to this is the aggressive posture of the present resident of the White House in which he is determined to expand the option to destroy the unborn even further by new legislation (Freedom of Choice Act), his executive orders which have resulted in tax payer support of abortion practices in foreign nations and expanded embryonic stem cell research. He is so blind that he (and his many supporters) fail to see that in God’s sight embryos are in reality human beings in early stages of formation, known and fully identified as persons! You doubt that? For authority on this see Jeremiah 1:4,5 and Psalm 139! And I realize citing a couple of "proof texts" from the Bible will mean absolutely nothing to a large number of persons -- but that is their problem, not mine!

So it is a bit senseless to fight over whether or not government funding of abortions should be included in a government run health care plan, is it not? Ask over 50 million victims of the United States customized version of holocaust! We may well have already crossed over the line of God's offer of mercy and forgiveness and now simply stand on the other side awaiting the outpouring of His wrath upon us in undiluted measure! He has yet to make His full response to the destruction of those persons for whom He had wonderful plans.

It also names certain church leaders and the number of unborn victims mutilated and murdered during their time in office.

"For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Partying in Williamsburg VA!

President Obama spoke of his first ride in Air Force One and expressed with a big smile, “I like it.”

It was truly a case of “birds of a feather flocking together” as the Democrats held a retreat in Williamsburg VA. They couldn’t do this without President B. Hussein Obama joining them and being on center stage at one point in this circus. He obviously is having no difficulty in adjusting to being center stage wherever he is or wherever he goes in his travels.

And how did he get there? Well, what better opportunity to try out Air Force One than to go to the Dems’ retreat in Williamsburg VA which is only about 147 miles down the road from DC! Marine One (the president’s personal helicopter) could have made the trip with much less expense – so much for a little sacrifice and a bit of savings to the American taxpayer from one who has talked and talked and talked (add as many talks as you want even if it fills an 18 wheeler to the point of overload in its load capacity!) about sacrificing, cutting back on some expenses and foregoing some “luxuries” we may have been used to – such as running those gas guzzling SUV’s!

His attempt at some humor would earn him a –F grade, or if the grading system has been revised to go all the way to Z, then he would get a -Z. He mentioned that his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel (who has a big foul mouth reputation), was teaching profanity to underprivileged children! This one got howls of laughter indicating the amused ones are plagued with an ignorance that defies description. First, they (including the president) are extremely ignorant of how Almighty God views profanity and a filthy mouth that spews out the same! Second, there obviously is no desire to set a noble example in conduct and speech for children and youth. These people who are supposed to be leaders fulfill the definition of profanity by one wise observer who declared that “profanity is the effort of a feeble mind trying to express itself forcibly!”

The president took an ample amount of time to further compliment Democratic leaders for their work. He especially praised Nancy Pelosi for her work in the House of Representatives and help with the gigantic stimulus bill being proposed. Queen Nancy, you remember, is Speaker of the House and the one who just recently made the statement about 500 million Americans losing their jobs – yes, that’s what she said – it’s on video. But not to be too hard on the Queen of the House – perhaps she was also including a few generations not yet born – that is, those who manage to survive the abortion binge the country is on at the present time. The United States only has about 305 million population in this year of 2009!


And the president had to take a shot at some cable networks though he did not specifically name any – but he used the term, “cable chatter,” different times, failing to realize he was on some cable channels himself as he stumped for that stimulus bill – was that not a bit of “cable chatter?” At least some citizens would prefer the other kind of “chatter” – it’s easier to stomach than is the Obama brand!

A confession – watching and listening to the antics presently taking place in Washington DC can be a very depressing experience – especially when you see no evidence produced by those elected officials that they are willing to do some sacrificing while piously calling upon us citizens to tighten our belts and do the sacrificing until things improve!

So I say again as I have often said previously – hang on, keep the faith and remember that it will not always be like this and we will not always be saddled with such leadership as presently exists at both state and federal levels – God is going to do a big change one of these days throughout this world – a change that is far beyond our limited ability to begin to comprehend. The below statement says it all!

The "True" State of the Union!

President Bush gave his final State of the Union adddress on Monday, January 28, 2008 before the U.S. Congress, other government officials, special guests, and anyone who chose to listen and view by means of TV.

It was pretty much the usual pattern -- the effort by the president in saying that things are going rather well with some areas needing a bit of attention for improvement, the need for bipartisan cooperation in whatever is to be done for the well being of U.S. citizens, and the country does have a hopeful and bright future.

Republicans clapped and cheered at points while Democrats did not -- what a sight -- Dick Cheney clapping while beside him at the same time Nancy Pelosi remained motionless with a look on her face as though she had half a lemon in her mouth!

Once in a while the camera focused on new bosom "buddies," Barack Obama and Ted Kennedy -- this pair looked like their menu for the last few days had been limited to dill pickles! And maybe they had shared some with Hillary Clinton, or was it vice-versa?

And as usual -- responses and the media "autopsy" after the address was completed -- E. coli is not the only thing that can cause one's digestive system to bring on a myriad of trips to the bathroom!

Let's get to it -- what is the TRUE state of the union?

The president, along with all others who hold elected or appointed office in the federal government, blindly overlooks or refuses to address the ethical, moral and spiritual crises that are causing our republic to resemble a cancer victim in the terminal stages of that deadly disease!

There are at least 8 monumental problems which are taking this country on a path to unprecedented disaster unless sure and certain corrective measures are taken very soon. These are:

• a contradictory government
  
  
• a contagion of idolatry
  
  
• consigned children
  
  
• a conflagration of immorality
  
  
• contaminated sabbaths
  
  
• contrived origins

Will a true spirit of repentance, rescue and full recovery take place with the nation getting back from its capsized and sinking position and thus gain the favorable blessing of Almighty God? How do you answer that one?

Most cultures over the centuries failed and experienced total collapse. For a number there was a total disappearance from ongoing existence. For instance, where can you go in this world and find a Babylonian, a citizen in what was once known as one of the greatest and most powerful empires in human history!

The tragedy for us is at least two-fold -- too many assume we shall always be on top in this world -- the richest and most powerful country in the world -- and second, that nothing such as a downfall or major collapse/defeat would ever happen here!

But a very small minority of us look at it this way -- the potential of judgment at the hands of a holy God is increasing with the passing of time! A review of "Driving the Final Nails!" mentioned above supports the position that God does hold this country, which claims to be "under Him" fully accountable and will deal with it according to the fruit of its doings!

"But this is what I commanded them, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.' Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward. Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have even sent to you all My servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them. Take a look at the above promotional poster for the Folsom Street Fair being held tomorrow in San Francisco. This happening is heralded as THE EVENT for same-gender couplers and their sympathizers who may be heterosexual in their orientation but campaign for the right to practice sodomy and lesbianism without restriction, etc.

The poster obviously is a mockery of the Last Supper which involved Jesus Christ and His disciples 2,000 years ago!

Any further question in your mind that this is just another step toward the goal of forced acceptance by everyone of the practices of sodomy and lesbianism in the good old U. S. of A? And when the goal is reached, if you so much as object vocally you may well be charged with a criminal offense under some warped version of a "hate crimes" statute!

And Here's Nancy P. -- AGAIN!

As each day passes it becomes more obvious that Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts are going to save us from ourselves whether we like it or not, and that we harbor absolutely no desire for such actions on her part!

And she is certainly taking advantage of her new position and power as Speaker of the House of Reps in Washington DC as never before in the few weeks since assuming that office along with making a host of braggadocio statements which have continued unabated to this day!

Off again on a high profile junket [def: to go on a junket or excursion. especially one paid for out of public funds] to the Middle East and "conversations" with Syrian President Bashar. This debacle does not sit well with the Bush Administration. But Nancy P. is on a mission not only to save us, but to save the whole world! And you know who is paying the tab for all these shenanigans, do you not? Why this gal will spend the last copper cent you have in your pocket and never blink an eyeball in the process!

While she, as have others who preceded her on such ventures, will consider herself an expert now on Middle East issues because she has been there and talked to people, she will not face up to at least two main facts:

• First, the reality of what Islam is about -- it is NOT a compromising religion nor is it tolerant of other religions, including Christianity. Because it is not in control and is not dominant here in the United States, a twisted picture has been painted of Islam -- but due to compromising here in the United States and a "tolerance" expressed by those who claim to be Muslim, it has become corrupted as has many segments of Christianity which also has its problems with compromise and toleration of what God has clearly denounced and condemned!
  
  In light of the books which are considered sacred and authoritative to their respective faiths, Islam and Christianity envision a world in which each is the exclusive faith -- they are totally incompatible with each other. Anyone who is not a Muslim is considered an unbeliever or an infidel, and likewise with Christianity -- one who has not received Jesus Christ is regarded as a sinner and under condemnation. The contrast in approaching unbelief is as different as day and night -- the approach of Christianity is a message of love and an appeal to turn from sin and receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord -- no gun to the head nor knife to the throat! If the message is rejected, so be it -- no retaliation is carried out if the message is refused. But in Islam deadly force can be used against infidels if they refuse to become Muslims in their faith and renounce all other religious practices, including Christianity! It is well known that in those nations where Islam is in total control such as Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia, Christianity is not permitted to be practiced openly. U.S. politicians have yet to wake up to this reality!
  
  
• Second, Nancy P. and the rest of the crowd in DC (and politicians in our state capitols as well) fail to realize that the blessing of God has been withdrawn from this nation in terms of the prestige and respect it used to hold throughout the entire world! We literally are on our own now -- no longer can we say that we have the blessing of God upon us in our world involvements, including our military actions! There will be those who will object vehemently to this suggestion, but think for a moment -- when was the last time the United States had a decisive military victory where the terms were unconditional surrender and those who were the enemy signed the documents without one single word of "negotiation?" There is also the evidence that since the politicians have handcuffed military commanders and have tried to dictate how the military is to do its "job" things have unraveled considerably as opposed to how military commanders operated in WW II and started to in Korea until Truman "fired" General MacArthur, and you remember how the Korean "police action" turned out, do you not?
  
  We are witnessing in a number of ways the truth of what happened to another nation at another time long, long ago -- here is how it is stated:

Be assured that Nancy P. and all the others will keep right on doing what they have been doing -- basically, "...it's my way (for me and my party) and whatever it takes financially (more taxes) and more spending (we will spend our way to prosperity) and more debt (we'll ignore that) and obscene campaigning (millions upon millions of dollars) to be reelected and then hope U. S. citizens believe our propaganda about what great things we have done for the country!"

Good News! A Day Coming in Which All Politicians Will Be Removed from Office! Just think, it'll be a great time -- I can hardly wait -- it's sort of like a 6 year-old waiting for Christmas on December 24th with excitement building like a giant snowball rolling down a slope!

Keystone Kops Resurrected!

Today’s local newspaper -- front page center – large bold headlines reading, “Iraq pullout push” – big picture of Rep. John P. Murtha (rep of the district in which I live) and Nancy Pelosi (3rd in line for the presidency of the United States – if that isn’t a nightmare possibility, then tell me what is!)!

All kinds of frantic scampering about on Capitol Hill in D.C. – if they just had on those old fashioned blue uniforms of another era, we’d most definitely have the 21st Century version of the famed Keystone Kops!

Now this thing has more convolutions than a 20 foot anaconda in the Amazon with Nancy P. & Co. initiating a “plan” to have our troops out of Iraq by a deadline of September 1, 2008.

As always, there are those "renegades" who are saying we ought to have the troops home by Christmas of this year, 2007.

And Democrats in the Senate want to set a target date of March 31, 2008 for withdrawal of combat troops but with no deadline attached to that date.

Now here’s the twist – Nancy P. says the war-related provisions would be added to George’s request for nearly $100 billion more in funds (this on top of billions already spent) to pay for fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan!

This thing is getting both messy and expensive, is it not? How long do you think it will be before someone says, “Due to ‘cost overruns’ in our war projects we need to raise taxes – but please understand, it’s all for a very worthy cause and to insure the security of our nation!” That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Washington DC-ese that comes spewing forth when tax issues come up!

Observe carefully the Kops running about like chickens with heads just chopped off and jockeying for prominent positions behind cameras and microphones in order to send a message to you and me that says, “Look at me and how important I am – I’m here to save you from yourself!” Is it not right on target to conclude that these people have long ago abandoned the principle of having the best interest and well being of our republic at heart?

As an aside – have you checked lately what the national debt numbers are? Be assured they haven’t been reduced the last few months – or the last number of decades for that matter! Further, what do you observe those elected to office in the Executive and Legislative branches of the federal government doing to eliminate that top heavy national debt? And as always, they decisively make sure their wallets and purses are full and over flowing -- check salaries and perks on that as they gorge at the public trough! Ah, I now rest my case!

The greatest tragedy of all, however, in the modern Keystone Kops caper is this – Almighty God has a much higher, nobler, and fulfilling purpose for thousands of our young people than being pawns of political hanky panky that drags out month after month after month…….. (add as many months as you wish!).

"....O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day; to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You. O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets. Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great disaster; for under the whole heaven such never has been done as what has been done to Jerusalem...." -- Daniel 9:7-12

NOTE: the above is a portion of a prayer which Daniel the prophet prayed some years after the kingdom in which he had been a citizen was totally destroyed and he ended up a captive in Babylon. Do some of the issues he mentions in that prayer sound at all a bit familiar?

Very Few People Can Handle Power and Wealth Responsibly!

Can anyone tell me why I am not surprised by this latest development? In today's edition of our local paper there is turmoil in Washington DC over Nancy Pelosi's desire for a larger Air Force aircraft than previous Speakers of the House of Reps have made use of in the past! Seems Big John Murtha (Rep of the district in which I live in south central PA) is pulling for her and possibly putting a bit of pressure on the Pentagon to comply with this request -- he does have some clout when it comes to the Pentagon, didn't you know?

This latest escapade simply underscores what has been long established as standard operating procedures for unregenerate human beings who by attitude demonstrate that the spiritual, moral, and ethical laws of the Creator of this universe are to be deliberately ignored at all times! If you start to take all those laws seriously as put in place by Almighty God, then it means an extreme sensitivity as to how wealth and power are going to be utilized -- and always with a clear understanding of a basic fact of life -- "At some point in the future my life on earth will come to an end and I shall give a complete accounting of my life on earth, what came into my life by way of resources, and how that was all used -- my time, my abilities, and my material goods -- and whether or not it was used to fulfill the purpose God had planned for me, or I did it all "my way" in the spirit of Frank Sinatra's very popular song!" That song by the way very well describes the theme song of not a few people dwelling on this planet.

In an earlier post it was discussed that the "Green Death" is the plague of the 21st Century as opposed to the "Black Death" of the the Middle Ages. Power and wealth are simply more than most people can handle wisely -- with politicians as an outstanding example. Did you ever see a politician retire in a state of bankruptcy? Check the retirement benefits alone which they have set up for themselves -- this was not determined by vote of the citizens, as it should be.


OK -- how about this? In today's (Feb 9, 2007) edition of our local paper, the front page had a headline article on the "retirement" of state politicans from Harrisburg PA -- there were 37 who retired or failed to win reelection -- Pennsylvania, by the way, has about the most cumbersome legislature of all 50 states. So here are some numbers to chew on -- this bunch took lump sum payments amounting to nearly $4 million dollars! Just the average pension will be $43,000 per year -- one of the fat cats took a $153,000 lump sum payment and will receive $4,257.00 a month for the rest of his life! And these people whine and cry because of taxpayer attitudes toward politicians at both state and federal levels! Now back to the comments made yesterday about Nancy P. and John E. ------>

On same page describing Nancy's latest debacle was an article on John Edwards and a picture of the new mansion he is building for himself and family. It sits on land valued at $1.1 million and the 28,000 square foot "house" will be worth a few million. John made his wealth as a trial lawyer -- you know, one of those guys that encourages you to go out and sue someone for something and get hundreds of thousands if not millions in a settlement, with guys like John getting a very hefty slice of the pie! And John is going to make another try at it for the high office of president of the U.S.A. Doesn't that possibility lift your spirit to paradise? Oh, by the way, a "conerstone" in John's campaign platform will be the elimination of poverty -- John is "anti-poverty" all the way making mention from time to time of "two Americas" -- one for the wealthy and one for the poor, causing Jay Leno to make the comment, "Well, I think we know which America he's living in!"



Just remember, when you see the constant abuse of wealth and power in the "land of the free and the home of the brave," you are seeing people who are a disgusting witness to the fact that very, very few persons can handle that wealth and power in a responsible manner -- it's always a "me first" philosophy no matter whom I tread underfoot nor what it costs to be "king" or "queen" of the hill!
