Looking at the Big Picture in the Limbaugh/Fluke Uproar!

A woman testifies in support of government funding of birth control items so that females can get this stuff free -- Rush Limbaugh responds by calling her certain very uncomplimentary names -- an avalanche of criticism is launched against Limbaugh -- some advertisers withdraw support -- many of the media again demonstrate that they most resemble sharks in bloody water where Limbaugh is the focus of attention, and so it goes! --- A variety of news sources on this "earth shaking" happening in the U.S.A!

It seems that nobody wants to or is willing to honestly face the big picture in the recent Limbaugh/Fluke controversy. Sandra Fluke in a sense was "campaigning" for government funding of birth control items -- that is, females wanting access to birth control items should be able to obtain the same under Obamacare at no cost to them, as the health plan seems to be commonly known.

As this became public, Rush Limbaugh reacted by calling Sandra a couple of rather derogatory names! A lot of public hostility was directed toward Rush because of his comments. Even President Obama called Sandra to console her -- one wonders just what all he may have said -- you know, something like, "Poor, poor Sandy -- did that mean old Rush say nasty things about you? You're a good girl -- just don't pay any attention to that hateful man -- he has said a lot of bad things about me too!"

The tragic fact in this is a neglect at looking far enough into the issue that the big picture of reality is very clearly revealed!

Our culture has lost its moral compass and no longer considers what our Creator says about life and responsibility.

One issue has to do with human sexuality and the proper way to express and experience it. God has drawn the boundaries explicitly and has shown what is acceptable sexual conduct and what is not.

The revelation given to us from God spells out what unacceptable sexual behavior is in all human relationships:

1. Sexual intimacy between two unmarried persons is an act of fornication and condemned by God. Nowhere is there ever a reference in the holy Scriptures that this is acceptable conduct in the sight of God.

2. Sexual intimacy between two persons, with at least one being married to a person other than the one with whom the act of sexual intimacy is taking place is considered to be adultery and condemned by God. In fact God used this immoral example as an illustration as to the unfaithfulness of His people, the ancient Israelites, engaging in the practices of worshipping false gods and goddesses. Some of these worship "rituals" involved such things as immoral sexual activity and sacrificing little children by throwing them alive into a fire!

3. Same gender sexual intimacy is not labeled as simply "sin" but as an abomination. What is the difference? As best the human mind can grasp the difference, we must conclude that an abomination is sin intensified many, many times over! The shedding of innocent blood is labeled by God as not a sin, but an abomination! The preceding example of sacrificing small children by throwing them into a raging fire as an act of worship to the ancient Canaanite god, Molech, would be an abomination. And so same gender sexual intimacy is not in the same class of sinful offenses such as fornication or adultery but something many times worse than these!

4. The Scriptures also mention the subject of sexual activity with animals. Common sense should tell every human being that this is stricly off limits, but obviously there are those who feel this can be very acceptable to those who desire to be involved in such activity. God labels it a "perversion" and soundly condemns it.

4. There are other sexual related offenses that take place within the human race in different ways such as sexual abuse of children and youth, rape, and a pornography industry that thrives on visual display of all manner sexual activity ranging from male/female intercourse to a wide variety of bizarre perversions!

God has set the boundary line of acceptable sexual expression and experience around a special couple -- a male and a female whom He has joined together in a significant covenant known as marriage. One can closely examine the holy Scriptures word by word and never find God approving conduct such as that described earlier. Only within the covenant of marriage does God grant His blessing when it comes to a man and a woman sharing the joy of their marriage within the context of sexual intimacy!

The very clear implication in the health care debate over government funding of birth control items so that females can obtain these without cost is that you can freely engage in your choice of sexual activity -- there are no moral restrictions -- do your own thing as your lusts dictate -- it's all OK since we make our own rules -- further, we must listen to the voice of the "Instant Gratification" god/goddess at all times, committing spiritual suicide in the process!

Any hope that the citizens of a republic known as the United States of America will seriously look at the BIG picture and consider the boundary lines as established by the Creator of the heavens and this lowly earth when it comes to human sexuality? Not likely -- the evidence is mounting day by day that we will experience what numerous cultures of the past learned the hard way -- when a defiant spirit dominates through time, then something called judgment at the hands of an angry God takes place! Ruins of nations which existed in the past testify that you cannot ignore the moral laws of God and get away with it -- it remains as written in Scripture, "God is not mocked..."

"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any beast, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before a beast to mate with it. It is perversion. Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you." --- Leviticus 18:22-24

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Finally, I Now Find Myself in Agreement with Barack Hussein Obama!

I never thought it would happen but it did. Always I found myself in radical disagreement with the president on a wide range of issues, no matter what they might be. The most obvious one is on his position of giving his sanction to the destruction of 25,000 unborn children each week of the year. I have maintained for a long time that Obama would have made an excellent Nazi SS officer in the days of WW II with his philosophy that certain individuals are not worthy to live because of certain existing factors. His one infamous example was that if his daughter should become pregnant, it was not right that she should be “punished” by being forced to bear the child – rather, an abortion would be the simple solution and the way of avoiding the “punishment!” In his twisted thinking, there are pregnancies that are considered “punishment” and the only way to resolve this dilemma is by destroying the unborn child and terminating its life!

Alas, I digress a bit in regard to a man who promised to “transform” the United States of America. He is keeping that promise and I agree 100 per cent that he is doing exactly that!

I agree that he is transforming our republic into a socialistic state and ultimately into a totalitarian state while at the same time professing to adhere to democratic principles! There is a word for that sort of thing, is there not? It starts with hypo.. something or other!

I agree that he has done violation to the U. S. Constitution along with co-conspirators in the U. S. Congress such as no other president has ever done in the history of our republic, which soon will be no longer a republic.

He has taken control in areas of what is known as the “private sector” as none has ever done before him. It has been big government taking over and controlling what goes on in the business arena.

And of course, the takeover of healthcare which involves 1/6 of the U. S. economy has been a top priority item for Obama and his partners in “legalized” crime throughout the land.

He has appointed numerous radicals known as “czars” who have extensive power and there is no way it seems for that power to be held in check since there has been no congressional approval nor regulated limits of these “loose canons” who are helping the president in his quest to “transform” the United States of America.

Basically what we are witnessing is the raw fact that very, very few people can handle power and/or wealth responsibly. Another common denominator is that such persons take the position that they are smarter than the common citizen and therefore know what is best since we ignorant ones do not! All we have to do is wake up, shut up, listen to the Pied Piper as he pipes, and then follow him to his warped interpretation of Utopia resulting from his “transforming” policies implemented over time!

Yes, I agree with Barack Hussein Obama that he is keeping his promise and indeed he is fundamentally transforming the United States of America. But I would not use the word “utopia” to describe his accomplishments but rather his transformation is resulting in a hell on earth.

If that was where my hope for the future was centered, I would be in a bottomless pit of despair, but I am thankful for the hope of God’s intervention at some point in the future with the return of Jesus Christ to this planet and the removal of all government leaders and elected officials from office, even those who had grandiose ambitions of “transforming” entire nations!

....since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed. --- 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10

Many Broken Promises? Yes, But the One Main Promise Has Been Kept!

Mention has been made through various media outlets about campaign promises made by Barack Obama in his quest for the U. S. presidency and the fact that a majority of those promises have not been kept! --- as discussed on talk shows and as referenced in printed media

Promises, promises – was anybody able to really keep up with the grand total of all that was promised by that fellow who took over as president last January. It’s been nearly a year and does anyone dare to ask the question, “Are we better off now than we were a year ago?”

But one significant promise has been kept – no denying it – repeatedly Barack Hussein Obama promised that he was going to transform the United States of America. And he has accomplished that in just a few short months. When the State of the Union address is delivered, will he acknowledge the fulfillment of that one big promise? That is after he gets done blaming Bush for whatever is perceived to be wrong.

Note some of the “fruits” of the transformation as promised:

The nation has been plunged into more debt than the human mind can begin to comprehend so that now we make reference to it in terms of trillions of dollars with China holding about 1 trillion of that debt alone!

Unemployment continues to hang at a double digit level and some are predicting the worst is yet to come!

Government bureaucracy is exploding like an out of control cancer – yes, there have been jobs created but they are government jobs not private sector jobs, which is what is desperately needed.

The government has been taking over the private sector in many areas such as mortgage institutions, banks, and the automotive industries.

The government wants to control the heath care system which is being debated at the present time. Evidence is that most citizens do not want the government interfering in the health care system, but the attitude is that we citizens are stupid, the president and his partners in crime know best, and are determined to ram the whole thing down our throats whether we like it or not!

There are those highly questionable appointed persons known as “czars” with this president setting a record by appointing more of these questionable characters than any before him. They do not go through congressional examination and approval and have practically unbridled power to do things that would make a 2-bit dictator envious! The personal philosophy of these persons and a multitude of others in a myriad of positions for the most part goes against much of what our republic in its Constitution stands for and represents by way of freedom and privilege! When you have one of these extolling and praising the likes of a Mao Tse-Tung, mass-murderer of over 60 million Chinese people, then we have reason to wonder where our nation is headed!

President Bush came under heavy fire from the Democrats for taking us to “war” in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most interesting now is the fact that Barack Hussein Obama recently determined that we need to send another 30,000 troops into Afghanistan. Any whooping and hollering coming from the Democrats on this move?

Yes, the country has been transformed and in regard to a related question – is it better off now than it was a year ago, quite a large number of persons would not hesitate to give an answer – an answer which is strongly negative!

Why Quibble About Abortion in PelosiCare?

Abortion appears to be main reason for conflict in resolving the health care issue in House of Rep’s bill --- Numerous news releases from a variety of sources providing information on Health Care legislation in House of Representatives

It seems the major “sticking point” in the nearly 2,000 page legislation proposal on government health care before the House of Representatives was the funding of abortions with U. S. tax dollars.

There are those, including Queen Pelosi, who want a provision in the bill in which abortions will be paid for through the tax dollars which will fund this Frankenstein model of proposed legislation. And there are a few who are opposed to it.

Why spend time arguing over it? Let it in the bill – let as many females who desire to do so, get abortions and have them paid for by our tax dollars as a fringe benefit of the government operated health care plan.

Why object to this? Our country has been in the abortion business ever since January 1973. There have been over 50 million unborn children brutally mutilated and murdered since that time when the Supreme Court ruled in effect that it is every woman’s “constitutional right” to have her unborn child destroyed if she so chooses!

No president in all the years since has been really aggressive to get this ended, though a few claimed to be “pro-life.” And the Congress is so messed up in its value system that nothing of substance will ever take place there when it comes to protection and preservation of the unborn!

Added to this is the aggressive posture of the present resident of the White House in which he is determined to expand the option to destroy the unborn even further by new legislation (Freedom of Choice Act), his executive orders which have resulted in tax payer support of abortion practices in foreign nations and expanded embryonic stem cell research. He is so blind that he (and his many supporters) fail to see that in God’s sight embryos are in reality human beings in early stages of formation, known and fully identified as persons! You doubt that? For authority on this see Jeremiah 1:4,5 and Psalm 139! And I realize citing a couple of "proof texts" from the Bible will mean absolutely nothing to a large number of persons -- but that is their problem, not mine!

So it is a bit senseless to fight over whether or not government funding of abortions should be included in a government run health care plan, is it not? Ask over 50 million victims of the United States customized version of holocaust! We may well have already crossed over the line of God's offer of mercy and forgiveness and now simply stand on the other side awaiting the outpouring of His wrath upon us in undiluted measure! He has yet to make His full response to the destruction of those persons for whom He had wonderful plans.

For a listing of interesting numbers as this thing has progressed over the decades – that is, how many unborn children have been slaughtered in the womb since certain persons have assumed elective office see A Quick Look at the United States’ Massacre Tally! It also names certain church leaders and the number of unborn victims mutilated and murdered during their time in office.

"For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. What Good Is Physical Health Care Reform If We Don’t Have Spiritual Health Care Reform?

The battle continues to rage on even in the wake of President Obama’s address to the nation and the U. S. Congress as he pushed zealously for all to accept his proposal to overhaul and reform the way we as a nation handle our health care situation.

There are those who adamantly oppose government controlled health care such as that being proposed and considered by the Congress. Ads are being run and time given as to why the legislation now before the U. S. Congress should be rejected.

On the other hand, there are those who passionately embrace the president’s plan to nationalize the health care system as much as a groom embraces his bride on their wedding day! Maybe this is in part due to such supporters viewing Obama as their “knight in shining armor” and they are like a fairy tale princess just waiting to be rescued!

Even if some sloppy semblance of a government controlled health care system is put in place, what good is it going to do if a much greater health care of another kind is intentionally neglected as has been the case for many decades?

We’re talking spiritual health care here and the United States, as is the case with all other nations, is in a pandemic crisis in regard to this issue. It makes the physical health care issue fade far into the background by way of comparison when it comes to what is most important for our republic’s survival in times to come!

Less than half of our population can make it to a place of worship on a Sunday morning and this includes the president and his family. The day of worship is treated like a holiday with the pursuit of “fun’ things, enthusiastic support of a myriad of sporting events, and commercial business ventures. God labels it with an unflattering expression – He calls it “profaning the Sabbath!” Ah, that means when we choose to ignore Him on the day He is to be honored and worshipped, then He is very displeased.

Much, much more could be added to the above, but space does not permit it at this time. The issues of our spiritual health have been addressed at Driving the Final Nails! There are 8 "nails" being driven into our nation's coffin -- that isn't a hammer you are holding in your hand, is it?

The time will come when the president will realize that his throwing out the generic phrase, “…God bless the United States of America,” at the end of his speeches does not cut it. And that he was dead wrong in believing that physical health care was the top priority issue -- but then, he isn't alone on this -- millions of citizens and a hoard of elected officials stand by him on this deadly position. But by that time it will most likely be too late to bring about the necessary changes in order to get the republic back on track where it ought to be in relation to the God we claim to be “under.”

Spiritual health care reform is the most serious issue our nation is presently facing, but who cares? Only a few fanatical “right-wing nuts,” and that certainly omits elected officials and not a few religious leaders as well!

"....if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." --- God speaking in 2 Chronicles 7:14

Sign of the Times?

Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times." --- Matthew 16:1-3

Well, I might as well stir the pot a little more! This is bound to arouse the wrath of a number of people -- for the simple reason that there may be just enough truth in the image below to cause an "Ouch!" or two!

The guy who came up with this one could maybe turn it into a profitable enterprise in the midst of a sick economy! If he can get a production line set up and then have a truck with these signs at the town meetings, he should turn a handsome profit -- after that he can start participating in a redistribution of his new found wealth! Hey, isn't that part of the grand plan -- didn't we hear it during rabid campaigning? We need to take from the "haves" and give to the "have nots!"


All this discussion, argument and fighting over health care while the most serious issue facing the nation is bypassed completely -- the moral and spiritual health care of our republic -- it's going down for the last count and we fuss around about whether we can keep our doctor or some committee will tell us whether we can be treated for that pimple on our nose!

Don’t Let Our Most Powerful Weapon Get Rusty!

Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness. And let him reprove me; it shall be as excellent oil; let my head not refuse it. For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked. --- Psalm 141:5

One of many issues hammered into the members of Platoon 511 many years ago at Parris Island, South Carolina was the care and use of our M-1 rifles. They were to be cleaned, maintained and ready for use at all times.

One of the greatest and most offensive acts of which a Marine could be guilty was to allow rust to accumulate on his rifle – even more serious than having unpolished shoes worn with an unpressed uniform, which was considered a serious offense in itself.

The wrath of a U.S.M.C. drill instructor upon discovering rust on a recruit’s rifle is beyond description – no words in our English language can fully define it!

How beneficial it would be if we would maintain a similar vigilance regarding rust gathering on a most powerful weapon made available to every Christian. It is the weapon of prayer -- never forget, it is precisely that!

Sadly, there is too often failure to recognize prayer at times is to be utilized as an offensive weapon in the battle against evil in its many forms of expression – one of those being in the misuse of power and influence in a system of government.

Review again the words of a man who knew what it was to pray in regard to the threat of evil – “For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.”

Our republic is embroiled in controversy due to the greatest power grab attempt in its entire history! We are plagued with political leaders who want to control every aspect of our lives. It began with control of financial institutions and the auto industries. Now there is an all out open assault to force us to accept government controlled health care!

Those in open opposition and who are making their objections know through town hall events, personal contacts with legislators and communications with the executive branch of our government are being labeled in the most vicious ways. They are called un-American, mobs, AstroTurf, compared to Nazis with swastikas, etc. There is also hard evidence that ACORN, unions, and other Obama supporters are attempting to infiltrate these gatherings and mute the dissent.

If you believe miracles can take place through prayer, then clean the rust off the weapon that may have been neglected for too long and begin praying against the deeds of the wicked who sit in high and powerful places in this republic.

Pray specifically that God will return upon their heads the “fruit of their doings!” This is a Biblical expression by the way, and it is demonstrated from time to time in ancient Israelite history. God does bring upon a person or a group the “fruits” of their actions when they are resolved to disregard the standards God has laid down in terms of responsible conduct – especially when you are in the powerful position of governing!

Since the evidence is overwhelming that Obama & Co. (his chief of staff, his V.P., his appointees at the Cabinet level, his multitude of “czars”) are not the least concerned about seeking and doing the will of God, nor seeking the blessing of God upon our republic, then it behooves us to pray that God will deal with them in such a way that all will know this one thing – you cannot defy God and reach a fulfilling and satisfactory goal!

So get the rust off that weapon and use it – and see how quickly God does something that will put the fear into the hearts of all, leading to full scale repentance – including elected officials!

We are long since past the point of simply praying, “God bless (name of elected official).” It is time to pray that God will deal with them according to their deeds and their words -- promises made but not kept. Worst of all, and you can sink no lower than this -- to agressively sanction the mass destruction of unborn children is such an abomination that no culture and its leaders can ultimately survive! Further, if they will not bring themselves into compliance with His divine will, then may God remove them from their positions in whatever way He sees fit!

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. --- James 5:17, 18

ObamaCare - Can Any Really Survive?

It's another "war" on American soil and it is intensifying. No, no shooting of bullets and hurling of grenades -- at least yet! It's a conflict over the attempt of Barack Hussein Obama and able assistants in his administration to force his "healthcare" plan upon the citizens of this republic.

As more light is shed upon what this is about, so is resistance mounting in accepting it. Town hall meetings are filled with angry citizens denouncing this latest government "take over" of healthcare throughout our republic.
