President Obama really wowed them at the Capitol last night, did he not? All those standing O's, shouts, clapping of hands and howls of adoration could almost convince a skeptic that here indeed is the “savior” or the “messiah” that some have been so bold in mentioning.
How could he not but succeed in his leadership at a time when things are somewhat in a bit of a strain with most attention focused on a staggering economy. Masses are convinced that he'll get us through this -- just give him a chance to prove it!
Largely overlooked is where the Obama administration will miserably strike out unless some very drastic changes are made in how the president approaches the matter in the near future.
The area that will bring the Obama administration down will be its dealings with children and youth. In the State of the Union address the president talked at length about the need to educate our children and youth and to enable them to move beyond the high school level, obtaining an education consisting of more than a high school diploma.
His failure is assured because he does not and most certainly will not stress the need for children to be taught a Biblically based value system which has always been an absolute must in a vicious world such as this.
Over half our population fails to be in public worship on Sunday of each week. The president and his family so far have given no indication that they consider this an important discipline and example to be set before the citizens they are attempting to lead.
Consequently we are raising millions of children who have no exposure to the reality of Who God is, what He has done, what His plans for the future are and how He has a plan for each human being due to His identification and knowledge of each of us before we were conceived in our mothers’ wombs.
Not only does the the president and his administration demonstrate monumental ignorance as to God's view of human life, but they place their stamp of approval on policy that prevents millions of children from getting an education in the first place!

Something quite essential that this nation has all but forgotten is worded this way:
"Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you; 'a land flowing with milk and honey.' Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart; you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” --- Deuteronomy 6:1-9
