It's another "war" on American soil and it is intensifying. No, no shooting of bullets and hurling of grenades -- at least yet! It's a conflict over the attempt of Barack Hussein Obama and able assistants in his administration to force his "healthcare" plan upon the citizens of this republic.
As more light is shed upon what this is about, so is resistance mounting in accepting it. Town hall meetings are filled with angry citizens denouncing this latest government "take over" of healthcare throughout our republic.
One organization has made available to us a condensed summary of what Obama & Co. intends to do -- it amounts to near total government control of our lives in a very critical area.

Word of caution - don't read this just before going to bed -- remember the poem, "The Night Before Christmas?" The children had visions of sugar plums, etc? Well in this scenario you have visions of waiting for months for needed surgery, or to be told you don't qualify for necessary surgery because you're too old! That is not exactly a pleasant dream.

Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed! False: Section 122 outlines broad categories of benefits that must be included in an essential benefits package. It prohibits cost-sharing for preventive care and limits annual out-of-pocket spending to $5,000 for an individual and $10,000 for a family, indexed for inflation. It says nothing about rationing or limiting treatment.
Below are the statements as taken from the bill in the section on Page 29 which you are disputing. No specific reference is made using the term "rationing" or "limitation" of treatment. This, of course, is subject, as is the whole monstrous bill, to interpretation. Since it was probably conjured up by a bunch of Philadelphia lawyers to begin with, the outcome means another area of our lives will come under government control ala Barack Hussein Obama. A few of us see this as an unprecedented disaster!

(2) ANNUAL LIMITATION.—
(A) ANNUAL LIMITATION.—The cost-sharing incurred under the essential benefits package with respect to an individual (or family) for a year does not exceed the applicable level specified in subparagraph (B).
(B) APPLICABLE LEVEL.—The applicable level specified in this subparagraph for Y1 is $5,000 for an individual and $10,000 for a
family. Such levels shall be increased (rounded to the nearest $100) for each subsequent year by the annual percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index (United States city average) applicable to such year.
PS - The well documented and very tragic experiences of health care in the United Kingdom and Canada reveal what we will experience if this thing goes through. Yes, many a politician says it won't be that way. Unfortunately, there are masses in our society that still believe them and have yet to learn they are not to be trusted! These are the ones who are demonstrating the eternal truth of Isaiah 9:16!
That section refers to patient out of pocket costs not rationing of care. But it really does not matter what it says or means, you have your warped opinion that you believe to be true. You are the one who demonstrates the eternal truth of Proverbs 18:2.
