Hypocrisy Par Excellence in Recent Protests!

Widespread protests took place all over the country in wake of grand jury decisions not to indict police officers in deaths of two black men, Michael Brown and Eric Garner! And as could be expected the mass media did everything but sponsor dances in the streets on these occasions.

There were protests that involved looting and burning on a large scale in Ferguson MO, and disruptions in many other places all over the country because of intense disagreement with decisions of grand juries in regard to the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner involving police officers. In both cases no indictments were handed down.

Penn State University which is located not so many miles from where I live was one location where such protests took place as students at one point were laying all over the steps in front of Old Main on campus. One has to wonder whether they have equal concern for other very heavy baggage that the university is dealing with plus the chaotic state of the board of trustees at the present time!

Why the par excellence application regarding hypocrisy in the massive protests across the country? Because there is a far greater injustice being done during each week of the year that involves hundreds of individuals on a daily basis! Did you know that a large number unborn black children are victims of intentional homicide each week day? Even if they have their hands up, they are still deliberately murdered and the murder involves dismembering them in the process of killing them? Same thing happens to a number of Hispanic unborn children as well! And yes, unborn white children are victims also, but then these will likely be racist which is an alleged characteristic of the whites and so aborted unborn whites means less white racist persons around later on, right? After all, they are the only ones who display racist attitudes – never happens among the black or Hispanic communities, so it has been claimed!

Abortion numbers are not easy to come by. One source is the Guttmacher Institute which stated that there were 1.05 million abortions in the United States in 2011 as opposed to the peak of 1.6 million which took place in 1990. There is much ado about the rate of abortions decreasing a bit but part of the problem is that there is a growing use of drugs which will cause an abortion as opposed to surgical abortions and figures on this aspect are very unreliable due to failure to be exact in reporting. There is also the “do it yourself” kind apart from supervision of medical personnel and numbers here are simply unknown. Who knows? Only the Shadow and he’s not talking!

So, for those who vehemently protest the alleged injustice involving such persons as Brown and Garner, how much protesting have you done about the injustice involving the intentional homicides of unborn children last week? Again, remember many are black and Hispanic – and yes, quite a number are white also, if you dare to raise a bit of concern about them as well!

And no, there will not be a grand jury that will bring about any indictments concerning these atrocities! The killers wear white coats with their names and the initials, M.D., mistakenly following the stitched name on the left side of the coat near the heart, although it is questionable whether there is a real heart there to begin with!

And after the killing has taken place, they slither back into their luxury automobiles and return to their elaborate mansions or condos – party and play a bit – maybe sleep a bit – and then return to kill again the next day and make big bucks while doing so with no legal charges ever brought against them! An aside on this -- recently a female abortionist who is a few months pregnant felt her unborn kick her just at the moment she was tearing off the leg of the unborn she was in the process of aborting -- she was struck by the timing of the incident, but continued to complete the mutilation process, spreading the pieces of the murdered victim out on a table, making sure she had gotten "everything!" See what I mean when I said about a lack of a real heart earlier?

To you who are so loud and boisterous in your protest against two grand jury decisions because you say justice was not done, will you start your protest against injustice of a degree that your little minds and mine cannot begin to comprehend its full extent nor its ultimate consequences? Or will you continue to play the hypocrite par excellence?

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord. [2 Kings 21:16 (KJV)].

Hypocrisy of the First Magnitude in DC -- AGAIN!

Below is the text of a fax which was sent earlier today to my reps in Washington DC, Senators Casey and Toomey and Representative Rothfus (12th District in PA).

Also pointed out is the repulsive hypocrisy of the present resident of the White House in Washington DC. He is making a big issue of the fact that 400 children were victims of the use of chemical weapons in Syria in addition to hundreds of adult victims. While he goes on a tirade about this and how we need to punish the leader of Syria for such criminal acts, there will be about 7 times that number of unborn children brutally mutilated and murdered in the United States today and each week day. Total number of victims, since the infamous Supreme Court ruling in 1973 declaring it is a woman's constitutional "right" to have her unborn child murdered, is now over 56 million!

To My Representative in Washington DC

Do not support military action against Syria at any time! Military action will only result in a quagmire with which we are totally unprepared to deal!

The president mentions about 400 children being victims of a chemical attack which took place in Syria. Please remind him that each day hundreds of unborn children are brutally mutilated and murdered here in the United States. What concern has he shown about these thousands of victims each week of the year? Total death toll is now at about 56 million since 1973!

A Shameful Day for Washington DC?

The news release mentioned that the present resident of the White House was “visibly frustrated” and that he “decried the defeat of the measure as parents of victims of last year's Newtown school shootings and former congresswoman Gabby Giffords looked on.” This bit of drama took place in the aftermath of the vote in the Senate in which the expanded background check on gun sales was defeated by a vote of 54 to 46. 60 votes were needed for the amendment to be adopted. In the Rose Garden setting it was noted that "All in all, this was a pretty shameful day for Washington."

Depending on whose ox was gored in the voting, remarks were made either in support of or against more gun control legislation.

The tragedy, however, is in the remark about it being a shameful day in Washington because of the way the vote went. In their ignorance the members of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government fail to realize that every day has been a shameful day for Washington DC for decades over time!

Even as zealous gun control advocates lamented the way the vote went today in the U.S. Senate they did not recognize another very critical happening which took place throughout the day. Even as the vote was being processed in the Senate chamber a number of unborn children were being brutally mutilated and murdered at different locations throughout our republic. And as the day comes to a close the tally of innocent victims will be in the hundreds!

But these high profile people in the three powerful branches of the United States government do not care – in fact, most are in support of the daily massacre of hundreds of unborn children. Further, the present resident of the White House will vigorously oppose any effort to restrict the practice of exterminating thousands of unborn children each week of the year!

It is nothing short of hypocrisy of the first magnitude to focus on alleged violence and loss of life due to use of firearms but not give a second of time to constructively eliminate the violence that takes the lives of hundreds of the unborn each week day. The tragedy is compounded when it is recognized that the people who commit these mass murders are never charged with a crime and become extremely wealthy as a result of the murders which they have been guilty of committing.

It is one of many glaring inconsistencies in our culture – a person spends a lot of time and work in developing skills that are to be used to benefit and enhance human health, but then turns around and uses those skills to further advance the bloody tally of the United States’ version of Holocaust!

The question of all questions is this: what will all these people do when Almighty God Who forms each conceived human being in his/her mother’s womb openly shows His intense displeasure with our insane policy of establishing a “constitutional right” to destroy an unborn child by deliberate choice?

For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; if ye oppress not the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your own hurt: then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even for evermore. Just When We Have Sunk As Low As a Society Can Go, We Manage to Dig Our Pit of Depravity Even Deeper!

A breaking news headline (Jan 24, 2013) has informed us with the exciting revelation that the Pentagon is lifting the ban on women being directly involved in combat operations. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in releasing the information stated that it was “the responsibility of every citizen to protect the nation.” And the present resident of the White House had to say something too – in his words the decision to involve females in direct combat circumstances would “be another step toward fulfilling our nation’s founding ideals of fairness and equality.”

We have dug a pit of depravity for ourselves that is about as deep as it can possibly be with our lack of respect for human life – that is, the intentional destruction of thousands of unborn children every week. A recent poll has indicated that most United States citizens want this carnage to continue and to preserve the ruling of Roe v. Wade intact, which is what the nation’s top elected “leader” wants also! But we have managed to make the pit a bit deeper in the bizarre announcement that now women will be able to have direct participation in military combat operations. You have already read the insane comments of two persons who are supposed to be in positions of leadership.

In older times when wisdom, common sense, and deep God-fearing moral convictions dominated the mindset of those elected to lead our republic, it was believed that men did the fighting in military conflict when that became a very nasty necessity. While women served in the military, it was always out of harm’s way as much as possible. It was a commonly held belief that a nation did everything it could to protect the women and the children in the event of armed conflict. And who was to do the protecting? The answer was simple – the men!

Having been trained a long, long time ago on how to use weapons against an enemy and how to tear an enemy up with a bayonet in the ugly “hand to hand” stuff, it is impossible for me to try to visualize what it would be like to be alongside a female while trading bullets with an enemy a few yards away. Personally, I am afraid I would be greatly distracted by worrying about her well being and protection in the midst of all the action. Yeah, that’s the male chauvinist coming out of me! I still believe in trying to be a gentleman and treat a lady like a lady – I still open doors in public places for a lady entering or leaving a building.

But the very worst thing in this "grand opportunity" of sending women into full combat operations is something that our “leaders” have not seriously thought about or they are so hopelessly brainwashed into the delusion that a “woman can do anything a man can do and probably do it better.” Want to think for a moment what will happen to those females if they happen to be captured by the enemy? Sit down and write some of the details as to what will transpire. Oh, make sure you warn the reader that what they are about to read carries a XXX rating!

However, that really doesn’t matter now, does it? We have taken “another step toward fulfilling our nation’s founding ideals of fairness and equality.”

Oh, by the way - on that matter of a woman being able to do anything a man can do, and probably do it better anyway -- I have yet to see a female on the starting lineup and playing the position of nose tackle on even one of the NFL teams - have you?

Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord...But as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it...Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. Another Happening on December 14, 2012 Is Ignored and Vehemently Denied!

On December 14, 2012 in Newtown CT Adam Lanza, 20 years old, entered Sandy Hook Elementary School and shot 20 children and 6 adults to death. This tragic happening not only shook our republic but many other nations in this world as well.

The media immediately went into “shark in bloody water mode” with a constant stream of reports from the massacre scene and a barrage of statements issued by persons who had some kind of position somewhere within the borders of the United States! And it actually continues to an extent a month later. Our local NBC affiliate in Johnstown PA (WJAC TV) makes its pilgrimage to Newtown CT on a repetitive basis to dredge up something – sort of like a vulture returning to the bones to get that very last piece of rotting flesh on the rib cage!

Now then, do you realize this – that on that very same day hundreds (not just dozens) – yes, hundreds – perhaps as many as 3,000 innocent unborn children were intentionally mutilated and murdered in their so-called “mothers’” wombs in the “land of the free and the home of the brave?” Yes, it happened on December 14, 2012!

Answer me – how many of our diligent media reported this far greater massacre that took place on December 14, 2012? How many of our high profile elected officials pointed out this abomination as they prattled on and on about the shooting of small children and adults in a school in Connecticut?

And of course, as could have been expected, the anti-gun campaign began with such intensity that it would make a presidential campaign seem like an amateur contest in its earliest stages! Again, elected officials led the way with declarations of the need to ban guns or at the very least so restrict gun owners that owning a gun is about the worst thing you can be guilty of doing and you need to pay some kind of exorbitant price for such an offense.

Mr. Obama was quick to jump on the anti-gun bandwagon with all sorts of statements issued including the not so veiled threat to use executive “power” in order to bring a high degree of control on the availability and use of firearms.

But in all the flood of words that spewed forth from all officials (self-appointed and otherwise) including the present resident of the White House, did you hear one word of concern about the massacre of hundreds of innocent unborn children on December 14, 2012?

While the media has overwhelmed us with talk about banning guns and reducing violence as a result of usage of those horrible gadgets, have there been any proposals from our elite leadership about banning the tools used to rip apart an unborn child so that the pieces are scattered out on a table and a “doctor” (term used very loosely) takes an inventory so that he/she is certain everything is accounted for – before the pieces are then discarded as casually as throwing a tissue into the garbage can after blowing one’s nose into that tissue?

The greatest tragedy of all in this matter is not the killing of persons in a place in the state of Connecticut or even the daily destruction of hundreds of unborn children in a republic known as the United States of America – the ultimate tragedy is that we have leadership (political and church) so blind and so ignorant that they fail to realize that the God Who formed this mighty universe by mere spoken command is going to make His response to this massive “shedding of innocent blood” that has been going on for forty years as of January 22, 2013!

No culture in the past has practiced the “shedding of innocent blood” and gotten off without incalculable consequences – in fact they now lie in ruins somewhere in this dismal world. It is a guarantee that the United States will prove to be no exception!

And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood; and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casts her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind. And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the chief captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand?” --- Revelation 6:12-17

Not at Conception, 24 Weeks, or at Birth, BUT from Eternity!

Debate on when a human is actually considered to be human rages on endlessly with each person who addresses the issue considering his/her word to be the "authority" as to the time we do "become" human.

Recently I got into an intense discussion with an individual over the issue of abortion. This person adamantly claimed that the child in the stages of formation in his/her mother's womb is not to be regarded as human until 24 weeks into the pregnancy. According to this person it is at that time that development has reached the point where pain can be experienced, etc. It appears that somewhere in the distant past scientific research has vainly attempted to arbitrarily set the time at 24 weeks as to when one graduates from being a simple mass of tissue and blood to that of becoming a full blown human being!

Others insist that one becomes human at the moment conception takes place with the uniting of a sperm and an egg cell which originate with a human male and a human female. Then there are those who radically insist that one is not human until birth has taken place and the new born individual is able to survive outside the womb through the process of breathing, eating, and drinking.

In order to avoid disturbing thoughts about the human aspect being applied to the unborn, abortion devotees employ the term "fetus." You know, this is so impersonal when making reference to that growing mass of blood and tissue inside the female! Instead of a living human being in the stages of formation, we are merely dealing with a thing, which can be treated as casually and indifferently as one would treat the contents of a garbage can!

The real issue in this, however, is how Almighty God views the unborn child. No question on this -- we each have a personal ID that spans the limitations of time and earth into the countless eons of eternity! Consider statements from God's special revelation to the members of the human race:

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:4, 5).

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You. (Psalm 139:14-18).

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:3-6).

The above is more than enough to reveal a very clear picture as to God's view of humans and when they are considered to be human.

First, notice that God claims to be involved in the formation of each human -- "I formed you..." does not leave anything to the imagination -- the only exception are those who stumble in their blindness and refuse to acknowledge the reality of God's involvement when it comes to persons such as we.

Second, notice that our identity exists prior to conception in the womb. God knows us before this all takes place and further He has a plan for our lives -- "the days fashioned for me." But the plan was in place before the days came to pass!

Third, this marvelous plan is centered in God's own Son, the Lord Jesus Christ -- "..He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.." The plan and purpose God has for each human life existed prior to the creation of this mighty universe and the earth which is a minute particle of that universe! Since Jesus sacrificed His life on behalf of every human being, that means God has something special for each human being by way of purpose.

Since we are not fashioned to be robots, God has given us the power to choose how it will be with us in this world as we move steadily toward eternity and giving an account to Him when life has ended for us on this earth. We can choose to respond to His gift of eternal life given through His Son, or reject it -- which is the choice of the vast majority living in this world at the present time.

A lot of horrible things take place in this world on a 24/7 basis. But at the top of the list of horrible things taking place what can match the intentional mutilation and murder of an unborn child? It ultimately comes down to direct destruction and the nullifying of God's plan for that child in the stages of formation in its mother's womb!

A wise and thinking person would quickly conclude that when you interfere with what God wants to do by way of a deliberate plan -- that is, you demolish that plan, then you are in more trouble than the human mind is capable of comprehending! But in today's world -- wise and thinking people we have too few and foolish unthinking people we have flooding the earth.

A final "confession" on my part -- I get to wondering about this issue in a republic that claims all persons should have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our "trail of blood" has become a river from nearly 59 million victims (as of 12-01-27). I wonder if God is going to have those unrepentant persons, who were in one way or another involved in this "holocaust," see their victims in eternity in that paradise into which all those victims have entered -- and that while the persons responsible for the deaths of the unborn exist in indescribable torment -- Luke 16 in the New Testament would suggest such a possibility! Anyway, just wondering.

At this stage in time there is no real regret concerning this abomination expressed throughout the nation on the part of elected officials, beginning with the president. Not a few church leaders are rather silent too when it comes to facing the reality of the United States' version of "holocaust!" None of us will want to be within the borders of this republic when God chooses to make His response to this, the greatest of tragedies to take place in our nation's history!

"The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it." --- Jeremiah 18:7-10

Talking to God While Blowing Snow!

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. --- James 5:17, 18

So we got hit with 2 major snow storms within a few days of each other, as did much of the eastern U.S. Our amounts were not as much as some, but more than others. Grand total for us in the Laurel Highlands of south central PA was about 30 inches give or take, depending on where the wind whipped it around a bit.

In all this, I had to resurrect my snow blower which had not been used in over two years. My faithful 4-wheeler, Suzi, with her snow blade just wasn’t up to pushing that amount of snow. Fortunately, Mr. Simply (snow blower built by Simplicity), fired right up and was ready to go to work. He cut through the stuff like the proverbial hot knife through butter!

But I did something else while Mr. Simply was moving snow. I did some talking to my Lord. I often do this while I am engaged in certain tasks and even while driving down the highway -- ah, I do keep my eyes open in that situation. And so, as always I began with some praise and thanksgiving. God had given me another day and sufficient strength to get out of bed and to move about. And there was thanksgiving for His mercies to me and members of my family. We have all been blessed with a good measure of health. And I am thankful to live in a nation where I am free to worship and to join with others in giving public expression to our faith.

But then as my attention turned to the nation in which I am a citizen I did some confessing. The first part of the confession was that we deserve the wrath of God to be poured out upon us for the many abominations and sins of which we are guilty. There is nothing I can point to and say to God, “For this reason or that – or look at this – for these we do not deserve to be judged!” There is simply nothing that we can appeal to and say to God, “We are basically pretty decent people and deserve blessings rather than judgment!”

The confession continues with the admission that we are guilty of the abomination of millions of unborn children destroyed for whom God had a purpose in life – for this alone we stand deserving of the outpouring of His fury. Our national leadership is not the least bit remorseful and our president gives wholehearted approval to this ongoing slaughter!

But that is only the beginning – our widespread idolatry with money being one of our prominent deities! There is our pandemic practices of sexual immorality in many forms. And we have trashed the day of worship with less than half our population finding their way to a place of worship on what some consider to be the “Lord’s Day.”

And so we talk – the Lord and I about such things. And I, as I admit that we deserve His judgment right now, ask for mercy and that He might arise and increase His chastising actions upon the nation and its leadership (both state and church) – that if possible, the nation might be brought to repentance – not just in pretense, but for real – seeking God in sorrow and regret – confessing and asking for forgiveness and national healing

And a part of the conversation involved the weather – yes, even these snow storms that brought havoc to much of the eastern United States.

“Will people realize that you are the God of storms also? Will you work in such a way that all this massive amount of snow will suddenly melt in the future and create even more problems? Speak clearly through these events, Lord, that even the most hard hearted person will pause and give thought to his or her relationship with You.....Nevertheless, Lord, not my will, but yours be done – in my life, my family, my many friends – throughout our beloved nation and to the ends of the earth. Even so, come Lord Jesus!”

"Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God......... But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.....--- Deuteronomy 28:1, 2, 15, 16

What Was His Real Reason for Being Out of Town on January 22?

"I am not going to walk away just because it's hard. We're going to keep on working to get this done with Democrats, Republicans, anyone who is willing to step up. Because I am not going to watch more people get crushed by costs or denied the care they need by insurance company bureaucrats or partisan politics or special-interest power in Washington." --- President Obama speaking in Elyria, Ohio on Friday, January 22, 2010

Was it mere coincidence, or was it deliberately planned? You know, something like, “I don’t want to be around here on January 22nd – think up a reason for me to be at least a few hundred miles away.”

And so it came to pass that President Barack Hussein Obama “just happened” to make a trip to Elyria, Ohio. A number describe him as being an “angry president” on the occasion.

Things have not been going well for the president lately – or for the recent year since taking office for that matter. The recent senate election in Massachusetts is only the latest in set backs for a president who was under the mistaken impression that once he took office it would be like waving a magic wand and whatever he wanted, the U.S. Congress and the whole country would go along without any objections. If for no other reason than the fact that he is Barack Hussein Obama and far smarter than the rest of us and he knows far better than we what is best for us!

But why go out of town on January 22nd? Simple – he didn’t want to be reminded in rather dramatic fashion of his miserable failure in his views on human life and the fact that he is totally out of touch as to what human life is all about. January 22nd is the annual March for Life in D.C. involving tens of thousands of U. S. citizens of all ages protesting the slaughter of unborn children at the rate of about 100,000 per month!

President Obama is the most pro-abortion president in U. S. history. The members of his administration are also supportive of destroying unborn children before they are born.

Little wonder he high-tailed it out of town on January 22nd – not enough guts to face that crowd or even look in its direction. He can run from the crowd now but unless he repents of his attitude in sanctioning the destruction of the unborn, there will come a time when he will face the Creator of this mighty universe and give an account as to why he gave wholehearted approval to the destruction of millions of unborn children and refused to accept Almighty God’s view of human life!

As noted in comments on this subject elsewhere, we have yet to witness God’s full response to this, the U. S. version of “holocaust.” When that response does come, none of us will want to be living within the boundaries of these United States!

In the meantime, take the weapon of prayer, and pray that God will “return upon the heads” of all elected officials the “fruit of their doings” – that is, their sanctioning of the destruction of unborn children which at this point in time numbers well beyond 51 million victims! Added to this abomination is the fact that these people, including the president, aggressively oppose any efforts to protect the lives of all unborn children. It is most obvious that they really do not believe the truth as found in this republic's historic documents that all persons should have the "right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

And don't buy into the heresy that the unborn are not really persons until they are born -- God has stated His position on that most clearly -- persons known and fully identified by Him long before conception and birth!

Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin with which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD. --- 2 Kings 21:16

Why Quibble About Abortion in PelosiCare?

Abortion appears to be main reason for conflict in resolving the health care issue in House of Rep’s bill --- Numerous news releases from a variety of sources providing information on Health Care legislation in House of Representatives

It seems the major “sticking point” in the nearly 2,000 page legislation proposal on government health care before the House of Representatives was the funding of abortions with U. S. tax dollars.

There are those, including Queen Pelosi, who want a provision in the bill in which abortions will be paid for through the tax dollars which will fund this Frankenstein model of proposed legislation. And there are a few who are opposed to it.

Why spend time arguing over it? Let it in the bill – let as many females who desire to do so, get abortions and have them paid for by our tax dollars as a fringe benefit of the government operated health care plan.

Why object to this? Our country has been in the abortion business ever since January 1973. There have been over 50 million unborn children brutally mutilated and murdered since that time when the Supreme Court ruled in effect that it is every woman’s “constitutional right” to have her unborn child destroyed if she so chooses!

No president in all the years since has been really aggressive to get this ended, though a few claimed to be “pro-life.” And the Congress is so messed up in its value system that nothing of substance will ever take place there when it comes to protection and preservation of the unborn!

Added to this is the aggressive posture of the present resident of the White House in which he is determined to expand the option to destroy the unborn even further by new legislation (Freedom of Choice Act), his executive orders which have resulted in tax payer support of abortion practices in foreign nations and expanded embryonic stem cell research. He is so blind that he (and his many supporters) fail to see that in God’s sight embryos are in reality human beings in early stages of formation, known and fully identified as persons! You doubt that? For authority on this see Jeremiah 1:4,5 and Psalm 139! And I realize citing a couple of "proof texts" from the Bible will mean absolutely nothing to a large number of persons -- but that is their problem, not mine!

So it is a bit senseless to fight over whether or not government funding of abortions should be included in a government run health care plan, is it not? Ask over 50 million victims of the United States customized version of holocaust! We may well have already crossed over the line of God's offer of mercy and forgiveness and now simply stand on the other side awaiting the outpouring of His wrath upon us in undiluted measure! He has yet to make His full response to the destruction of those persons for whom He had wonderful plans.

It also names certain church leaders and the number of unborn victims mutilated and murdered during their time in office.

Now All He Has to Do Is Convince God!

It had to be the icing on the cake after all the words of praise and tribute when President B. Hussein Obama took to the podium and declared before the whole world that Teddy Kennedy was truly the “greatest legislator of our time!”

A majority are probably already convinced that this is so – others may have been wavering a bit, but the eloquence and rhetorical skills of the president would convince them rather quickly and the doubts would vanish as rapidly as the morning fog when it is hit by the hot August sun!

But there is a minority that is not only skeptical but have solid grounds for challenging such a statement as to T. Kennedy being the “greatest legislator of our time.”

As noted in a previous post, T. Kennedy supported and pressed for legislation which when held up against God’s clear revelation is found to be weighed in the balances and shown to be very much wanting! His zeal in supporting all that had to do with the deceptive “right” to destroy unborn children and to sanction the “right” to engage in immoral sexual conduct which God in no uncertain terms condemns is an indicator that this man demonstrated an attitude which is the equivalent of spitting in the face of Almighty God. It is this same God Who claims the authority to establish clear standards for human behavior and relationships.

Now the big challenge that remains is this: for Barack Hussein Obama to convince God that T. Kennedy was right on all issues, especially the intentional destruction of unborn children and that it is OK for persons who identify as practicing sodomites or lesbians to engage in sexual activity and to even be “married!”

Throughout history there have been national leaders who have had egos that would make Mt. Everest seem like a tiny mole hill by comparison, who were persuaded that they knew better than the citizens they governed what was best for them, who in their arrogance got extremely upset with anyone who would question their policies, and who, more often than not, embarked on a course of action that eventually caused the nations they were supposed to be leading to experience disaster and eventual collapse! Obama has shown that he fits this mold perfectly!

Even as President Obama takes on more and more the image of Captain Smith surveying the bow of the Titanic sinking beneath the waves of a very frigid Atlantic, it is a given that his supposed gift of oratory and persuasive rhetoric will not cause the Creator of this mighty universe to so much as blink for a split second of time!

Rather it will simply be another leader of a nation doing what all the others who have preceded him have done – when it comes to standing before God, whether leader or common citizen, we won’t do the talking, but rather we will do the listening:

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. --- Romans 3:19

It will be a drastic change of pace, will it not? A powerful world leader who is used to telling and people listening to whatever it is that he tells, now in the position of having his mouth shut with tongue very still and he is doing the listening while Someone of far greater authority than a puny world leader could ever dream of possessing is now doing the talking – what a sight that will be to behold!

Yes, Virginia, Teddy was dead wrong on some of the most critical moral issues taking place in human history and no one will convince the Creator of this universe otherwise!

For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and those who are led by them are destroyed. --- Isaiah 9:16

Don’t Let Our Most Powerful Weapon Get Rusty!

Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness. And let him reprove me; it shall be as excellent oil; let my head not refuse it. For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked. --- Psalm 141:5

One of many issues hammered into the members of Platoon 511 many years ago at Parris Island, South Carolina was the care and use of our M-1 rifles. They were to be cleaned, maintained and ready for use at all times.

One of the greatest and most offensive acts of which a Marine could be guilty was to allow rust to accumulate on his rifle – even more serious than having unpolished shoes worn with an unpressed uniform, which was considered a serious offense in itself.

The wrath of a U.S.M.C. drill instructor upon discovering rust on a recruit’s rifle is beyond description – no words in our English language can fully define it!

How beneficial it would be if we would maintain a similar vigilance regarding rust gathering on a most powerful weapon made available to every Christian. It is the weapon of prayer -- never forget, it is precisely that!

Sadly, there is too often failure to recognize prayer at times is to be utilized as an offensive weapon in the battle against evil in its many forms of expression – one of those being in the misuse of power and influence in a system of government.

Review again the words of a man who knew what it was to pray in regard to the threat of evil – “For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.”

Our republic is embroiled in controversy due to the greatest power grab attempt in its entire history! We are plagued with political leaders who want to control every aspect of our lives. It began with control of financial institutions and the auto industries. Now there is an all out open assault to force us to accept government controlled health care!

Those in open opposition and who are making their objections know through town hall events, personal contacts with legislators and communications with the executive branch of our government are being labeled in the most vicious ways. They are called un-American, mobs, AstroTurf, compared to Nazis with swastikas, etc. There is also hard evidence that ACORN, unions, and other Obama supporters are attempting to infiltrate these gatherings and mute the dissent.

If you believe miracles can take place through prayer, then clean the rust off the weapon that may have been neglected for too long and begin praying against the deeds of the wicked who sit in high and powerful places in this republic.

Pray specifically that God will return upon their heads the “fruit of their doings!” This is a Biblical expression by the way, and it is demonstrated from time to time in ancient Israelite history. God does bring upon a person or a group the “fruits” of their actions when they are resolved to disregard the standards God has laid down in terms of responsible conduct – especially when you are in the powerful position of governing!

Since the evidence is overwhelming that Obama & Co. (his chief of staff, his V.P., his appointees at the Cabinet level, his multitude of “czars”) are not the least concerned about seeking and doing the will of God, nor seeking the blessing of God upon our republic, then it behooves us to pray that God will deal with them in such a way that all will know this one thing – you cannot defy God and reach a fulfilling and satisfactory goal!

So get the rust off that weapon and use it – and see how quickly God does something that will put the fear into the hearts of all, leading to full scale repentance – including elected officials!

We are long since past the point of simply praying, “God bless (name of elected official).” It is time to pray that God will deal with them according to their deeds and their words -- promises made but not kept. Worst of all, and you can sink no lower than this -- to agressively sanction the mass destruction of unborn children is such an abomination that no culture and its leaders can ultimately survive! Further, if they will not bring themselves into compliance with His divine will, then may God remove them from their positions in whatever way He sees fit!

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. --- James 5:17, 18

Moment of Silence for Whom?

At some point, it was inevitable: Some politicians, somewhere, were going to have to talk about Michael Jackson's death. President Obama hasn't done it, so the responsibility fell to the Congressional Black Caucus, which led a moment of silence in Jackson's honor on the House floor on Friday. --- one of a number of news releases in connection with the death of Michael Jackson

It was Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr., a congressman from the state of – wouldn’t you know it – Illinois, who said, "Madam Speaker (Nancy Pelosi), if there is a God, and I believe there is, and that god distributes grace and mercy and talent to all of his children, on Aug. 28, 1958, he visited Gary, Ind., and touched a young man with an abundance of his blessings. With that gift, that young man, Michael Joe Jackson, would touch and change the world. His heart couldn't get any bigger, and yesterday it arrested."

And so there was a moment of silence in the chamber of the U. S. House of Representatives following Congressman Jackson’s less than accurate assessment of Michael Jackson and his ability to “change the world” – at least for the better!

This leads to a most appropriate question on the “moment of silence” practice as recently observed in the House of Representatives of the United States Congress.

Why was there not a moment of silence observed for Private William Long who was gunned down by a black Muslim convert, Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, at a military recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 1st? This “dedicated” Muslim said that he would have shot and killed more soldiers if they had been in the parking lot! We heard a lot about the shooting of abortionist, George Tiller, but Private Long’s death apparently is of little consequence so far as elected officials in the U. S. Congress are concerned.

And how about a moment of silence to honor those military people who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan – these who have not accumulated millions and millions of dollars in the entertainment industry and are living under such harsh conditions that we in the United States cannot begin to comprehend a tiny bit of it all! The bunch mentioned in the preceding paragraph does not consider these military persons to be worth even a few seconds of special recognition and that “moment of silence!”

Could we have a moment of silence to honor and remember the approximate 25,000 unborn children who were brutally mutilated and murdered in the womb last week? Would it not be appropriate for the members of the House of Representatives to note their passing – these for whom God’s purpose has been intentionally short-circuited?

Oh, I forgot – within that body of representatives from the 50 states of this republic are quite a number who sanction the destruction of unborn children, including the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi -- House Speaker Pelose is in full agreement with President B. Hussein Obama on that subject. So, to suggest that they observe a special moment of silence for thousands of unborn victims would do nothing but incite vicious and intense debate over whether those unborn are even human -- that they are to be as casually disposed of as when you throw a Kleenex tissue into the garbage can after you have used it in blowing your nose!

If anything, such happenings indicate that our "value system" has clearly found its way into the moral cess pool that the leaders of this nation have been constructing for its citizens over a period of at least five decades or more!

And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God." --- Jesus speaking in Luke 16:15

Presidential Selectivity When It Comes to Speaking of Horror!

WEIMAR, Germany - President Barack Obama witnessed the Nazi ovens of the Buchenwald concentration camp Friday, its clock tower frozen at the time of liberation, and said the leaders of today must not rest against the spread of evil.

The president called the camp where an estimated 56,000 people died the "ultimate rebuke" to Holocaust deniers and skeptics. And he bluntly challenged one of them, Iranian President Ahmadinejad, to visit Buchenwald. --- from news release on President Obama’s visit to a former Nazi concentration camp

President Obama has graphically demonstrated that he is very selective when it comes to the subject of what is horror. The word was employed during his recent visit to the Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany. The camp, along with many others, gained notoriety when it was learned of the masses of people put to death during WW II by the Nazis.

The estimated number of people who died at Buchenwald is said to be at least 56,000. This is just a tad more than the number of unborn children who are exterminated in a two week period in the United States. The average rate in the “land of the free and the home of the brave” is about 25,000 every week!

The president commented, “These sites have not lost their horror with the passage of time…More than half a century later, our grief and our outrage over what happened have not diminished…Buchenwald teaches us that we must be ever-vigilant about the spread of evil in our time, that we must reject the false comfort that others' suffering is not our problem, and commit ourselves to resisting those who would subjugate others to serve their own interests.”

Well now, would you take a look at this – maybe you ought to review it two or three times just in case you didn’t read it correctly.

Let’s “adjust” the president’s statements a bit and place them in a different “setting” – are you game? Come on, let’s do it!

It is reported that he “bluntly” challenged Iranian President Ahmadinejad to visit Buchenwald because Ahmadinejad is one who has denied the horrors of the Holocaust. OK, how about our president in all his righteous indignation visiting an abortion clinic and personally witness the destruction of human lives before those children are born? Sound fair enough, if we are going to challenge world leaders to view something?

Is President Obama willing to be “ever-vigilant about the evil in our time” here in the United States when it comes to the evil of the mass murders of innocent unborn children? How would you answer a poll that asked you, “Is the intentional destruction of 25,000 unborn children every week an evil in our time?” How would the president answer such a question?

And in viewing the destruction of an unborn child, would our president apply the word “horror” as an appropriate way to describe what was done to that child as its life was brutally taken in a deliberate act as a result of a deliberate “decision” and big bucks were paid to the person who did the act, but that same person was not charged with an act of murder?

Remember, this is the man who shortly after taking office signed documents which has now made possible the use of U. S. taxpayer dollars going into foreign nations and supporting organizations which do abortions.

And this is the man who has declared his intention of signing the FOCA which will further remove what few restrictions against abortion that have been set in place by states, including parental notification in those cases involving underage females seeking an abortion.

Don’t hold your breath on this one as the president once again demonstrates how easy it is to be consistent in his most glaring inconsistency while he points to what a “horror” it was that happened in a place called Buchenwald decades ago! It is highly unlikely that he will ever honestly face the horrors of the United States’ version of “holocaust!”

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time I punish them, they shall be cast down," says the LORD. Thus says the LORD: "Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.' Also, I set watchmen over you, saying, 'listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not listen.'" --- Jeremiah 6:15-17

George Tiller’s Days of Terminating Lives of the Unborn Are Ended!

Dr. George Tiller, notorious for doing late term abortions, was shot to death on Sunday, May 31, 2009, while serving as an usher at his church. His wife was a member of the choir and seated in the choir area when the tragic event took place. --- information from a variety of news sources

Dr. George Tiller’s murder will have a negative impact on those who have been employing peaceful objections and protests in the attempt to use legal means to halt the mass destruction of unborn children at the rate of approximately 100,000 per month.

First, the majority of those involved in mass media dissemination of news are supportive of abortion on demand and will spin references to pro-life supporters in the most negative ways possible. All of us will be branded as bigoted and fanatical “terrorists” capable of violent acts against doctors, members of their staffs and against their facilities.

Second, the pro-abortion crowd will exploit this incident to the hilt and then some. This is just the kind of grist for their propaganda mills that they delight in. Their cause will be helped immensely and the battle for the rights of unborn humans will be more of an uphill battle than it has ever been before.

Third, the most pro-death president in the history of our republic has spoken on this matter and it is certain that he will also do everything within the scope of his power and influence to see that pro-life supporters are more restricted and hindered than ever in the conflict that has raged since January of 1973. In his recent speech at the Notre Dame commencement he attempted to appeal to reaching "common ground" between those who support abortion and those who oppose it. This kid has some growing up to do -- he has yet to realize you can't half kill an unborn child and make everybody happy -- especially the Creator of this mighty universe Who claims He is involved in the formation of an unborn child in the womb! (See Jeremiah 1:4, 5 on that).

Fourth, our pro-death president has already nominated a highly questionable person to the Supreme Court and it is a given that whoever occupies the next vacant chair at the Supreme Court will always rule in favor of continued destruction of the unborn. Incidents such as the tragic death of Dr. Tiller simply cause these judges to dig their heels in more deeply. Resulting decisions as they pertain to unborn children will be a death sentence just as surely as the individual who pulled the trigger on the weapon which took the life of Dr. Tiller.

But in order to try to balance this thing a bit, it is wise to bear in mind an eternal truth. There are times when God permits a shocking display as to how this law works. It’s called the law of sowing and reaping. It is based on a statement out of Galatians 6 in the New Testament. We are informed that God will not be mocked – whatever a man sows, that he will surely reap in due time.

In an act of violence the life of Dr. George Tiller was taken. But here was a man who immersed himself in acts of violence over quite a period of time. Violence was a way of life for him – each time he snuffed out the life of a baby in the late stages of its development in its mother’s womb, he was involved in an act of violence and guilty of murder – and that’s not just an opinion of mine – if you think so, just go and have a little talk with God about it and let me know what He gives by way of an answer, OK?

For those who are still unwilling to admit that we are talking a violent murderous act each time the life of an unborn child is terminated, take a look at what actually happens. Pro-abortion people get very upset over the display of such pictures – sort of similar to many getting upset when bodies and bones of the Nazi Holocaust were publicly displayed. And they have been quite successful in suppressing the publishing of such photos, although photos depicting other forms of violence are constantly displayed for all ages to view -- the exception is the viewing of the mutilated remains of an unborn human being!

Every few days President Obama is sent a letter and at the bottom of that letter is photographic evidence of the results of the productive “work” of some “doctors” (term used very loosely) in this republic.

But there is reason for a few of us to be hopeful in regard to the future – no, not in terms of expecting a sudden turn-around and that the nation and its leaders have at long last come to their senses and said that we have to stop this shedding of innocent blood. But rather, hopeful that God is going to step in and He will take action that will leave no room for doubt that the decision which determined that a woman has a constitutional “right” to destroy her unborn child was the most insane – the most idiotic – the most destructive – the most damning judicial decision ever made in the history of the United States of America!

PA UM Bishops' War on Gambling in Pennsylvania continued....

Yesterday the focus was on four UMC bishops who have issued a pastoral letter urging all United Methodists in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to oppose Gov. Rendell’s proposal to expand gambling by means of video poker machines set up in a number of business establishments.

Many years ago before my retirement I, along with all W. PA Conference pastors, received a “pastoral letter” from the three UMC bishops in Pennsylvania. We were told to read the letter to our congregations and urge opposition and call for ultimate elimination of the death penalty in the state.

I wrote to each of those bishops personally and told each one that I would be most willing to read their letter to my people IF and WHEN I received a letter from them equally strong and forceful in opposing abortion on demand. After all, a "death penalty" of a kind is involved when an unborn child is executed in the womb, is it not?

Time passed and eventually I received a reply from the bishop of the Central PA Conference. The letter contained a few terse phrases which when translated clearly declared, “Who are you to question us?” That is a temptation some bishops seem to have once they take office – they now have a “kingdom” and when they say “Jump!” everyone snaps to attention and says, “Yes sir/madam – just how much altitude does your honor desire from us in that jump?” Pastors and congregations are expected to march in lockstep with no questions to be asked nor any objections to be raised when the bishop speaks!

The female bishop at the eastern end of the state never did send a reply to my letter. And as I followed her career in later years I understood why she did not respond.

More time passed and eventually my own bishop responded. He conceded that the issue was a serious one, but felt maybe I was making a little bit too much of it – you know, a matter of making "a mountain out of a mole hill" sort of thing!

And so, I didn’t read the letter. I did post it on the bulletin boards of my churches along side of the letter I sent to the bishops and informed my people what had transpired.

That is how it has been over the decades – United Methodist bishops have spoken out on issues of all kinds – pastoral letters have been drafted and congregations have been urged to take action to bring about changes toward improvement of some kind within our culture.

But on the issue which will bring the wrath of a holy God upon this nation more quickly than any other offense, the bishops seem to have a Mafia type “code of silence!” Not a one will boldly speak out in vehement protest about the horrors of the mass destruction of the unborn, nor urge those within his/her conference to do so.

At the present time W PA Annual Conference has been on a campaign to send treated mosquito netting to Africa in the battle against malaria with Bishop Bickerton hammering on the fact of huge numbers of persons dying each year from malaria. Jean and I have supported this effort financially. But why does the bishop not express at least equal concern for over a million unborn children in the United States being mutilated and murdered in the womb each year?

Maybe I have it all wrong – and that is, that it is much more a serious matter as to what a mosquito does to a person in Africa than what a hypocrite posing as a “doctor” does with a custom made vacuum cleaner in tearing to shreds an unborn child whom God is forming in the womb in the United States of America! PA UM Bishops Declare War on Gambling – Will They Do Likewise on a Much More Serious Practice in the State?

Four bishops have recently declared war on gambling in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This is a result of Governor Rendell’s attempt to expand gambling with the hope of bringing in more revenue into the state’s piggy bank. Those bishops are Thomas J. Bickerton of Pittsburgh, Jane Allen Middleton of Harrisburg, Peggy A. Johnson of Philadelphia, and Susan W. Hassinger, of Albany, N.Y., whose area takes in a bit of Northeastern Pennsylvania

The bishops have issued a pastoral letter in which they said, “Contact your legislator and Gov. Rendell. Tell them video poker goes against God’s best intentions for Gods children.”

The bishops also noted that “The United Methodist Church believes ‘gambling is a menace to society, deadly to the best interests of moral, social, economic, and spiritual life, destructive of good government and good stewardship,’” as they cited long-standing church law and scripture.

For a long time there has been no lack within the United Methodist Church when it comes to all out frontal attack on gambling. In fact, the way some church leaders approach it, one would be quickly convinced that it is the greatest evil to ever penetrate the human race!

Let’s consider another much more critical social and moral issue which the bishops of the UMC do not address, ever. It’s the issue of the destruction of unborn children at the rate of about 25,000 per week in the “land of the free and the home of the brave!” Quite a number of these very young ones are brutally mutilated and murdered within the borders of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Now then, ponder a modest proposition for the bishops since they have fired the shot – how about changing the wording a bit and issue one more letter to be read in the churches, since we are now making the claim for correcting immoral practices in Pennsylvania?

Here’s the revised “edition” on the two statements mentioned above, and the same could be applied throughout the whole letter. As UM’s know very well – the practice of doing amending at annual conference sessions is a very popular pastime – so let’s do some of it here:

Statement #1 amended to read “Contact your legislator and Gov. Rendell. Tell them abortion goes against God’s best intentions for Gods children.”

Statement #2 amended to read “The United Methodist Church believes ‘abortion is a menace to society, deadly to the best interests of moral, social, economic, and spiritual life, destructive of good government and good stewardship.’”

The last statement presents a bit of a problem since the official position of the United Methodist Church can be regarded as giving the “green light” to the practice of abortion, although there is an attempt to couch the statements in pious sounding language. But in the final analysis, any woman can get an abortion who wants one on the basis of simply saying that the pregnancy will bring undue psychological stress, financial stress, health related stress, employment stress, social stress, family stress, home environment stress, household pet stress, garbage can stress, or whatever – it’s very easy to come up with a “reason” as to why an unborn child should be exterminated as simply as swatting a fly!

So, bishops, how about it – may we soon expect the second pastoral letter with the above amended statements in the war against social evils that are “a menace to society, deadly to the best interests of moral, social, economic, and spiritual life, destructive of good government and good stewardship?”

There Should Be No Surprise on B. O.’s Supreme Court Nominee!

O LORD, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? even cry out to You, "Violence!" And You will not save. Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds. "Look among the nations and watch; be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. “ --- Habakkuk 1:2-5

We are now plunged into a deep sea of speculation since the word is out that Supreme Court Justice Souter is going to step down later this year.

It is now being reported that the Obama people have been working for some time to come up with possible candidates for the next justice of the Supreme Court.

It doesn’t matter what name is submitted by the Obama bunch – one can speculate until doom’s day as to the identity of that nominee, but here’s what it will be as to the person who will sit in the seat soon to be vacated by Souter:

• he or she will be a rabid pro-abortion advocate and any ruling having to do with the destruction of unborn children will be made to insure that the slaughter continues without restriction! That is how the president thinks and he will make sure that his puppet appointee on the Supreme Court thinks and rules likewise.
  
  
• he or she will have an anti-God and anti-Christ approach when ruling on matters that have to do with church and moral issues – in other words, whatever would be in agreement with God’s revelation and basic teachings of Christianity will be rejected by Obama’s chosen Supreme Court justice!
  
  
• he or she will participate in such rulings as will further grease the skids on this nation’s downward plunge into a totally socialistic society with the U. S. Constitution being but a distant memory in due time.
  
  
• in summary, whatever sense of justice that the average citizen possesses and however that average citizen feels a Supreme Court decision should be in the dispensing of true justice, the president’s choice on the Supreme Court will rule just the opposite – remember, we now have people in leadership positions who are products of the rebel 60’s, the obnoxious 70’s, and the putrid 80’s – so court decisions that reflect a genuine sense of divine justice are extremely few and far between, especially at the U. S. Supreme Court level!
  

To get a good idea of how it will go with appointments by the president to various courts, check out the background of Obama’s first judicial appointment, David Hamilton, to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. David has quite a track record and his view of human life squares perfectly with the president who is recommending him.

After reading how Hamilton has ruled on some very important matters in the past you might not view the above statements as the erratic ranting of a lunatic after all! And it appears that Hamilton will get the position with little objection – who’s to object? It won’t be the Democrats who have placed their imprimatur on mass destruction of unborn children and the Republicans? They for the most part have abandoned any real sense of standing for protection and preservation of the unborn – it’s now considered too radical and too unpopular to want to protect all unborn children!

And none of these dare any longer to point the finger at Nazi Germany in self-righteous indignation and state what evil people they were – check the numbers – for every victim of the Nazi Holocaust we have matched it by at least 3 in our United States' version of “Holocaust!”

No Respect for the Man Who Disgraces the Office!

"However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die." --- 2 Samuel 12:14

It happened a long time ago to a man who held a very powerful position – he was king over a nation that had been proving itself to be superior over all other kingdoms at that point in time.

But one night unbridled lust invaded the life of king David of Israel and he committed adultery with the result that the woman, Bathsheba, became pregnant. To make matters even worse, David conspired to have Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah, killed in battle.

Things seemed to go alright for a while until one day God sent a prophet to confront the king about what he had done. David confessed that he had sinned and sought God’s mercy and forgiveness, which was graciously granted to him.

But he had disgraced the office of his kingship and was undeserving of respect which was evident by a harsh rebuke from God through the prophet, Nathan. Note again the words, “However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.” --- 2 Samuel 12:14.

In this year of 2009 we are saddled with a president who has disgraced the high office of the presidency of the United States in numerous ways. There are those who attempt to defend the president and declare that we must support him and show respect for him.

But how can you respect this man when:

• he has lied repeatedly, not keeping promises which at the time they were made, he adamantly insisted he would make good on them when he became president! God does have a few explicit things to say about lying, does He not?
  
  
• he has led us down the road of uncontrolled spending and plunged our republic into an abyss of indebtedness from which it will never recover. China holds about one trillion dollars of that debt and if that country ever says, “Pay up, right now!”, what do you suppose will happen?
  
  
• he demonstrated the epitome of disgrace on his recent foreign junket when he bowed to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. In effect the president of the United States was saying by that act that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Muslim faith to which the king is an ardent devotee are superior to the United States. This is nothing short of an image of the surrender of our national sovereignty!
  
  
• he has placed a blanket seal of approval (and it’s not the Good Housekeeping one) on the mass destruction of unborn children at all stages of their development from a few weeks (embryonic stem cell research) to full term. Not only is his support given to such mass murder and destruction in our nation, but by his signature we now support the destruction of the unborn in foreign nations as well.
  

However such happenings should come as no real surprise since the blessing of Almighty God is being withdrawn and being replaced with increased chastising actions and calamities in an attempt to awaken the nation to awareness that full repentance must be the top priority on the nation’s agenda. If it does not become that top priority, then we can expect our future to turn out the same as that of ancient cultures whose ruins we can now explore and observe – ancient Babylon being one of the more infamous examples!

And a PS on this -- if you are among the many who say we should respect the president, then you show me how to respect Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong, each of whom was responsible for millions of deaths of innocent victims, then I will apply your logic and start respecting B. Hussein Obama!

"And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know Me," says the LORD. “Everyone take heed to his neighbor, and do not trust any brother; for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanderers. Everyone will deceive his neighbor, and will not speak the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.” --- Jeremiah 9:3-5

Trying to Lead Without the Blessing of God!

Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Now, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Yes, show her all her abominations! Then say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "The city sheds blood in her own midst, that her time may come; and she makes idols within herself to defile herself. You have become guilty by the blood which you have shed, and have defiled yourself with the idols which you have made. You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years; therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mockery to all countries. Those near and those far from you will mock you as infamous and full of tumult.” --- Ezekiel 22:1-5

He’s off to bring many of the prominent nations of the world together and to convince them to work together – according to his idea of how the financial woes of the world ought to be resolved, or will he?

President Obama is totally on his own in this venture and so it is also with his administration as he and his key players attempt to govern a republic known as the United States of America.

Just a few simple things to keep in mind:

• he and his people are totally on their own in all that they do with the main reason being that no longer is the blessing of God upon the nation.
  
  
• rampant disobedience on the part of a majority of our population in part has contributed to the withdrawing of God’s blessing. Our mass shedding of innocent blood, idolatry, immorality, pleasure seeking, and indoctrinating our young with lies about our origins does more than stir the emotions of a holy God just a trifle!
  
  
• B. O. is the first president to aggressively support and further expand the destruction of the unborn at all stages of development from a few weeks (embryo destruction) to a short time away from birth. 50 million dollars has just been channeled to groups that do abortions in foreign countries.
  

Read again the statement from Ezekiel which is posted at the top of these comments – God made clear to a people long ago that because of their persistent disobedience the time would come when the nation would be a mockery among other peoples.

Stop and think for a moment – some of us who are older can remember a time when the United States was not only the most powerful nation on the face of the planet, but it was respected in most all places. Wherever the stars and stripes waved there was reason to pause and give thanks for what the nation stood for and the liberties for which it was well known. It was known to be the “land of the free and the home of the brave.”

That is no longer the case. Increased corruption within the leadership ranks, of both state and church, over the years has taken a heavy toll. Those corrupting influences have had a very negative effect on the citizens. As noted in previous postings, you can see an excellent summary as to how a culture unravels at 2 Chronicles 36, beginning with verse 11. Do some comparing and then remember that the tragedy is this -- the vast majority fail to see what has been happening and the reason behind it all!

We are now experiencing the reality of what was stated by a prophet of long ago by the name of Ezekiel. No longer can we claim to be under the blessing of Almighty God!

"Look, the princes of Israel: each one has used his power to shed blood in you.In you they have made light of father and mother; in your midst they have oppressed the stranger; in you they have mistreated the fatherless and the widow. You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths. In you are men who slander to cause bloodshed; in you are those who eat on the mountains; in your midst they commit lewdness. In you men uncover their fathers' nakedness; in you they violate women who are set apart during their impurity. One commits abomination with his neighbor's wife; another lewdly defiles his daughter-in-law; and another in you violates his sister, his father's daughter. In you they take bribes to shed blood; you take usury and increase; you have made profit from your neighbors by extortion, and have forgotten Me," says the Lord GOD. "Behold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have made, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst. Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken, and will do it.” --- Ezekiel 22:6-14

Tiller the “Killer” off the Hook….for Now, That Is!

George Tiller was found not guilty by a Kansas jury of violating state laws regarding late term abortions last week. George is a “specialist” of a unique breed. His specialty? He murders unborn babies that are near the end of the pregnancy term and about to be born! There are not many of his breed to be found in the United States, but then what is the difference – it is murder whether you do it Tiller “style” or you exterminate a human in the embryonic stage which has been given approval recently by the president of the United States!

So, Tiller the “Killer” is off the hook for now, that is. Want to do an interesting moment of speculation? Try this for size – what do you suppose this man is going to say to God when it is his moment to stand before Him and have to answer for years of the “shedding of innocent blood?” You know, the persons he intentionally murdered before they were born – those persons for whom God had a high and holy purpose after birth?

Each of us, of course, will have our moment in answering to God for what we have done with our lives on earth. It will be under one of two conditions -- either we are accepted because during our earthly existence we saw we were sinners and stand condemned, but repented of our sins and now have been forgiven due to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord OR we stand before God condemned because we never did repent of our sins and rejected God's love in His Son, Jesus!

Will Tiller the "Killer" repent of this madness? There is that possibility, but it is a remote one at best. There is something about mass murdering practice that hardens the heart – one becomes calloused and the seared conscience is the bitter result – no feeling whatsoever when unborn humans one after another are brutally mutilated and murdered!

Looking at the countenance of George Tiller brings to mind the same look on the countenance of others in the past who involved themselves in mass murder policies and practices – the likes of an Adolph Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Joseph Goebbels, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong come to mind.

It certainly is imperative to pray for the man, that if possible, he does indeed come to repentance and publicly renounce the practice of which he has been a violent part for years. But if he won’t repent, then may God stop him by whatever means necessary from continuing in his habit of murdering unborn children!

But while praying for the "killer" may we also add members of a jury that saw nothing wrong in what he has been doing and those "mothers" (term used very loosely) who paid him big bucks to murder the little ones in their wombs!

Yes, Tiller the "Killer" is off the hook for now, but that will change – let’s pray that it will be very soon!
